How did you know when to have sex?

I was 17 my first time, and it was awkward. Connie was 21; she had just broken-up with her boyfriend, and I was the re-bound, but didn't understand that.

I was trying to be her friend. One night, in 1990, we were watching a movie at a friend's house (in the dark), and she kissed me out of the blue. I tried to stop her dead in her tracks, but the next thing you know she "grabbed hold of me". and at the end of the day, I am a guy, so it was all over.

The bottom line is I NEVER speak to her anymore, not because I don't want to, but rather, we hurt each other by moving too fast. I almost got her pregnant, at a really inconvenient time in both of our lives.

My advice: If you don't intend to Marry someone, there's always oral sex, if you're both in a committed relationship. And believe me, after 2 girls and 10 years of marriage, sometimes, that's more preferable anyway.

Ok well for me, this guy I have a lot of history with suggested we have sex. Before he said anything I never even thought about having sex. I told him not because I wasnt ready but the longer I thought about it (a few months) I started being more comfortable with the idea. Now, my first time was a random hookup at a party with a guy I knew nothing about except his first name. I don't regret it but I definitely think that I wasnt ready. After having sex with him I was depressed for. wow like a month after. And I never cry, but I cried almost everyday for no reason.

My point is that I thought I was ready for sex but now I realize I wasn't. Now that I already lost my virginity I am still going to have sex but next time, its going to be with someone I care about and trust (the guy I'm in love with). Just think about it before you do it because like I said I was very depressed for a month. I didn't eat a lot, I cried almost everyday, and I wasnt happy with myself.

but I get close to sometimes because I love my boyfriend. and its not like just some random guy I met and just started dating. its someone I known for awhile. and I plan to marry him.so even if 'OOPS' happens. I'll be okay knowin' it was to him.

right now.i think I would be ready but I always ask myself. could I be able to care for a baby at my age? because even if you have safe sex.theres always a possibility. and another question is it a guy you feel comfortable with? like after that night you wouldn't be awkard around him.

hopefully you find someone you love and don't do it just because your "ready" for sex and just want to ge tit done with anyone.

Personally, and you might not like my answer but I'll go for it anyways. I'm saving myself for the man I'm going to marry. My virginity will be a gift to him.
