Why do you guys revolve everthing around sex?

Do you watch television today? It is telling us to think about sex. Every commercial. Every movie. Every tv show. I mean every ad in every magazine is pushing women and their sexuality to us. And then there is women. Are you telling me you have never worn a shirt that you knew was going to show a little extra cleavage or a skirt that showed a little too much thigh. Or maybe you went bra less or just the opposite, you wore a push up bra to make your breasts look even bigger. What about make up. are you telling me you don't apply make up in front of a mirror for an hour so that some guy will think you are hot? Let's not forget necklaces, earrings, and ankle bracelets.what do you really think those are for.they are to draw our attention to those parts of your body.that is why they usually sparkle so much. And of course we can't forget about tattoos.you know where all you girls put those.

And yet you can't figure this out. It's because you girls do it to us.

Well it seems rather simple to me. Males want sex, and if they are not getting it they can hardly think of anything else. Think of what happens to a guy immediately after sex. If you don't do something to keep his attention, he will be asleep two minutes after the sex is over. If a male is getting plenty of sex, it enables him to think more of other things. You will find as a general rule, those males that talk most about it, are getting the least of it.
On a similar note, the guy that brags most of his large equipment, will tend to have small equipment. He is subconsciously trying to convince himself. Those that have it, know it, and don't need to convince themselves.

I wouldn't say that it's ALL we care about - you must realize that it's not as simple as you make it sound. It is, in essence, the only reason that males exist in the first place. We are literally genetic accidents which proved useful and were used more by evolution and whatnot.

To say that it's all we think about wouldn't be far from the truth, in my experience - but we do enjoy the same sort of cuddly-wuddly stuff that you lot do. Thing is, it's just lower down on the priorities list, sadly. Personally, being in something of a steady relationship has taught me that it's not all-important, which is probably good to know at 16. To wrap this up, it's all we're put on this earth to think about, so cut us some slack. Just a bit, not too much or we'll all become rapists and nobody wants that.

I don't really know. I guess were just freaks of nature.

Women are boring, we only pretend to care so we can have sex.

Actually, I think a lot has to do with perception.
I am 39 and still single, and I would love to get married, have a relationship.ect.
but a lot of people around me mis-interpret my intentions and assume that I am in need to get laid.
women assume men are pigs and only after sex, but men do not communicate like women do, I don't tell my guy buddies how I would love to just cuddle at night on the beach with a beautiful woman and read a book to her by the firelight. my buddies would look at me cross-eyed! so when the guys are around, I'll say something shallow like "I need to get laid!"
they get the point, and we avoid any awkward silences!

Woah woah woah. Basically what CrazyCrisUk said; we aren't all like that. I admit, I think about it too. But not waking up thinking about, going to bed thinking about, and looking at any girl and thinking about it. You've obviously not been around nice guys. And yes, we do have a strong urge to have sex, but that's natural human instinct. It's just some of us guys are able to control it more than others. As for me, the only girl I look at and picture in my bed would be my girlfriend, and really I've only done that once or twice - and it wasn't all sex. You're probably just hanging around the wrong guys. But we don't all revolve everything around sex. And if we do, it's human nature - we were evolved to reproduce and follow the idea of survival of the fittest.

Thats not all we think about, you make us sound so simple, I know girls who talk about nothing else so it's to do with the person not the gender.

And yeah we've got a higher sex drive, if we didn't there wouldn't be babies born everyday, just once a year 9 months after valentines and all that lol. ;)

you have to understand, men are visual beings. women use their mind.

I don't know about other girls but it turns me on when I know my boyfriend is thinking about sex! That's basically all we talk about is what we want to do to each other sexually. Plus, like JChacon08, it's human instinct. You can't help it and neither can they.
