Yes, I think that girls and women alike are afraid to talk about a lot of sexual things. The truth is that women aren't like sex in the city. Even with someone that the are sexually comfortable with, I have noticed shyness a lot. I dated a girl that, for over a year wouldn't tell me she wanted anal sex. A lot of women are raised to think sex is dirty, so having a desire like that made her feel a little dirty. After she was honest and I was receptive and I took the time to be sweet about the situation and try to make it not seem so dirty, she was a lot happier in our sex life together. Instead of sugar-coating it with a Q&A session. You need to have a nice chat about sex without skirting the issue. Possibly, after a couple of cocktails, in a private and comfortable setting.
