Their was a spot of blood this morning and I thought I started my period. But my pad is clean hours later. Yesterday my boyfriend fingered me. Can blood appear over 12 hours after the hymen breaks? Or was I just still sleeping and imagining things?

Yes this is normal. I have had girls tell me this happened 1 even 2 days after the first day their hymen was broken.

Question Asker How do I know for sure it isn't my period??? I just started beeding more! - 3 months ago
Answerer Is it continuing bleeding, or does it come in spurts? Of course, are you due for your period now? I know that girls that this happened to, they bled;then nothing happened, then they bled again. I used to work as a nurse so I had asked one of the doctors at the hospital I worked with, and he said that movement could have triggered the bleeding, and unless it was non stop bleeding, then all she could do was wait for the bleeding to stop in a day or 2. - 3 months ago
Question Asker Their was a dot this morning, a lot about 30 minutes ago, and now I think it has stopped. (I changed my pad a few minutes ago and it is still clean) If this is my period it is at least a week early, if not closer to two. (I'm not very regular, but this is early regardless)

If this is my hymen then I guess I'm going to have to try to hide my real period. My mom saw pad rappers and asked if I started. Maybe she'll forget. - 3 months ago
Answerer Ahahaha...good luck hiding that from mom. They are not dumb, and somehow they have that motherly intuition that tells them what happened; when the period does come, you better throw away the pad rappers somewhere else where she will not see them! :D - 3 months ago
Question Asker Yeah, I'm going to cover them with toilet paper so she can't see the color. Plus, my mom already knows quite a bit. She found a note in my pocket about a week ago. (talking about more innocent things then fingering, but still. . . ) She's already going to be on the look out. - 3 months ago
Question Asker Hey, I think it hasn't stopped since it started up again. (at least 20 hours ago) This is bleeding way more then my period. Is that normal? - 3 months ago

yes it can. Actually, when I first lost my virginity, there were blood sploches in the bed. But, the next day, I noticed that there was blood in my underwear. And this was during the day. Because the hymen is basically a piece of fleshy tissue, once it is broken, it will have to heal.
