Unprotected Sex?

I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend a lot- reason behind it is that we have been together a long time, and have health worries (we know we are both clean), and although don't really want a baby now, would not be a huge proble, if we accidently concieved.
Never had unprotected w anyone else, would never do it on a first time encounter.

But my best friend, is a really intelligent woman, with a science degree form western university and she has unprotected sex on a reg basis with multiple partners, has never been on birth control, lost her virginity with a condom, but since then has really done whatever.

I think what it comes down to, is educated or not, self loving, or tragic, many of us have a tendency to self sabatage, or be wreckless, even though we fully understand the possible consequences, its the "once is ok" and "it can't happen to me" mentality.

i have unprotected sex regularly with my boyfriend, and we're both clean health wise and I also do it because I trust him and he's a frequent masterbator so he knows his body really well and always manages to pull out on time. he's the only one I've had sex with. I wouldn't on a first time encounter

The last time was a couple weeks ago and the only reason we didn't was because we had had sex multiple times that night and I guess by that time it was just like an "oh well" thing and because it felt better without it.
