My boyfriend likes when I'm clean shaven down there- meaning no hair what so ever. The only problem is that it gets irritated and itchy and hurts.
I find that if I put a thin layer on "unscented" deodorant (it still has a smell) that that helps a lot. The only problem is that I'm worried about my boyfriend tasting it when giving me oral.
Is it like going down on a girl and instead of smelling and tasting her, licking a stick of deodorant? What should I do?
you could try a moisturising/vitamin E cream which will relieve the area but get absorbed into the skin rather than sit there like deodorant; try a hypo-allergenic one with no perfumes (the one from body shop is pretty good - I use this on my neck after shaving to prevent shaving burn)
also, make sure your razor is *sharp* : change the blades often, otherwise the blunt blades will pull at the hairs rather than slice, and that leads to the irritation.
veet or nair or a similar product might be another option - check the the label to see if the product in question is safe for sensitive bits & try a small bit first to make sure you don't get a reaction :P
I personally use a razor and usually run it across that area evey morning while taking a shower. I use lubridurm moisturizer and within a couple of minutes it has disappeared from the surface of the skin, but keeps me very soft and smooth with no taste or oily feeling.
Some people like going for the waxing but for me the shaving is great and I have found that by just quickly going over the area while showeing you never get stubs, no ingrown hairs, no red bumps.
