Ok, why is it that people lie about how they look? I have met guys online they ask me of course what I look like when I tell them I am thick they say "Oh you mean fat." Then I have met some in person and they are nothing like the pic or what they told me. Why lie if you plan on seeing the person?
That's a good question . They are not thinking clearly when they do that . . Then again, maybe they don't plan on meeting at first, so they figure it's no harm to say what they say . And then when they are presented with the chance to meet someone, they feel embarrassed because they know they misrepresented themself .
Personally I would just play it straight . If you don't meet them, it doesn't matter . And if you do meet them, it's best to present your real self .
Guys lie because they want to seem like they brolic or something... fat guys think because they got a little bit of rounding around their biceps that means they got big muscles. That's ridiculous. I'm skinny though you can see each muscle curving out that's because I work out, but I don't have huge muscles because I have a fast metabolism. They want to seem better then what they are.
Well I think when they start the conversation they are not planning on meeting you ever, because you are just chatting. If they had said they were not all that to begin with they would run the risk that you would not continue to talk to them, so they lie, but when it gets to the point where they will meet you, they have already told you a lie about what they look like. So there is no going back.
Guys will lie because their expectations for the date are probably different. Where girls may look at the blind date as deciding whether or not they are boyfriend material, the guy wouldn't even be there if he didn't want to have sex with you from your description or pictures, and evaluates your real life appearance as such. They know that you're not there for some cheap encounter, so the date is their chance at winning you over with other qualities so that the possibility of having sex with you is greater. But girls that they will have sex with aren't necessarily always good enough to be their girlfriend.
You want to feel good, like to make them like you and have a very memory of you. Everybody likes good looking one and we all know that. but I never lie, I don't have to lie about that
