Why is everyone losing there virginity at such a young age? Did you regret it

Isn't that a problem for the people who are so immature that they feel they can stand in judgment of other people's sexuality? I lost my viginity at 15 and I would have done it sooner if I had the chance. I did learn early that people who have a problem with it will have a problem with it regardless of when you have sex. It is the fact that you are having sex (and often that they are not) that is the real sticking point. I do admit that sex in college was a lot better but that was a long way off at 15. Live and learn.

People are loosing their virginity so young because they think that if they don't do it people will look down on them not think they are cool they aren't doing what others are doing you know? I didn't loose mine until I was 17 and I didn't have a choice because well. . . I was raped my first time. if it wasnt for that I probably wouldn't have lost it for a while longer I was in no rush and guys actually respected me for being a virgin. I still had fun with out having sex and it mad me feel good to say that I was a virgin.

There's no point at all in losing their virginity at 14 other than that they have absolutely no moral values or care less about their self respects or betting married some day and having had 10++ sexual partners already. Why not let it spread it around that those girls are having sex so young and don't really care? So what if they accidentally get pregnant or catch some serious STD's? Maybe to them being a slut and shank will make them popular or happy or whatever. Well it will to guys that want them for only sex while pretending for a short while that they actually like them. But to answer your questions more directly I think they've losing it because they've been watching too many bad movies, listening to too much rap and reading too much crap and not being made to realize that that behavior is destructive and turn them into people they won't want to be like. They've probably never been taught good values and he importance of having a good character.

Why do people lose it so early? Hormones.Around that age they start kicking in, and certain things become experiences you want to try. Many go ahead, despite the fear of the act, the information they've been given, and the lack of maturity to handle the situation. It sucks, but there it is.

You also have to remember that in many cultures, this is a proper age to start having sex, looking toward marriage, etc. It used to be that way in almost all cultures. Waiting until you are 20 or so to get married or have sex has only become the norm in the past few centuries.

It's not something that will stop. If anything, I've seen it getting worse as birth control information continues to be distorted and young people that have no clue how to prevent pregnancy have sex. Or we just hear about it more. Either way, it won't ever go away. And they're usually not worried if people know about it, as if I remember correctly, when I was that age it was almost a status symbol, something you paraded to make yourself seem older and cool. Not true, but that's how it was.

Well, that's at your school. People only find out what you share with them. At my school, the only way people find out is if one of you tells, or the girl gets pregnant.

I'm 17 and a virgin. I'm not saving myself for anything (I don't see the point); I just haven't had the chance to lose it yet.

Why should it matter to anyone other than the person you sleep with? It's none of their business.
