ok so I know it's normal for girls to have a white discharge, but what if your discharge is a brownish black? and it's no where near your period. what does this mean?

For some unknown reason, once you have had a bladder infection the propensity to have another is significantly enhanced. You comment below that you have had a number of these. Perhaps you should be engaging in prophylactic measures to address this condition. A daily glass of cranberry juice at a minimum. Ask your GYN for other measures you might institute.

Some girls say that simply drinking cranberry juice cures their urinary tract infection. Try it.

Actually, I learned about this some time ago. It's old blood from your previous period that never got cleansed out of your system. It's a cluster of broken, dead blood vessels that turns brown when it's finally released out of your system in the form of a discharge. No worries, it's all good! Do some research on the internet and you'll find similar information from what I just said.

There are so many different infections and/or issues that can cause discharge for us females. It could be a UTI, a bladder infection, a kidney infection, a vaginal infection, it could be blood from an injury inside you, anything. It could be a small injury to your cervix, too. If it lasts longer than three to four days, definitely go to the doctor.

Supposedly, you can now buy those testing kits at pharmacies, the ones that tell if you have a yeast infection and a few other infections. I've never used one and have no clue how they work, but it might be a good thing to look into getting, at least to see if it gives you some idea of what you have, but a doctor is the best medicine.

Go see a gyno immediately. It's probably a yeast infection or UTI which is important to take care of ASAP.

Question Asker Thanks, I wonder if it's related to the fact that I get blatter infections all the time... and never have any symptoms from them until it gets really bad and I wind up getting super high fevers and vomiting. maybe there is a connection? - A month ago
