As for how I would react, well I'd be fine with it, and interested in exploring if my guy brought me home something. I'd tell him how I'd like us to use it. I guess I'm lucky that way, the guy I'm with now likes my toy collection, but not all guys are as open as he is.

I'd suggest breaking the ice first, feeling it out a bit as to how she would react. Then maybe suggest going together (that can be fun) and picking the toy out, as a rule guys think a woman will want the biggest thickest thing on the shelf, but this is not true. I'd be more inclined to think that your woman (if she was picking it out for herself) would pick something of a more moderate size.
Remember this toy is in no way a substitute for you or your manhood. Its just a way for you both to enjoy each other a little more. Done this way, it could only be interpreted as you wanting to be open and explore your sex life with your partner, unless she's a real prude. Take yourself on down to the local sex store and go ahead have some fun, and a little adventure. Get some massage oil and anything else that interests you and make a full evening of it.
I'm not married, and I can't imagine what my sex life would be like with my husband. My reaction would be very dependent on what our sex life is like. I had a friend whose boyfriend purchased a sex swing, and she seemed cool/ excited about it, but then again, they experimented like that. I would take it as a sign of openness, but I don't see my husband and me playing like that. I really wouldn't know what to say to be honest.
Without knowing your Husband it's kinda hard to answer this but I know that If I were to give something like that to a girlfriend or wife of mine that I was being intimate with I would be giving it to her for her to use when I am not around and for US to play with when we are together and looking for some play time together.

Well, to be honest I haven't tried it yet since I almost never go out nowadays, but I wouldn't hesitate it I was to be in this situation. The way I do it, I would not be pushy or anything. After my last comment I would probably leave her for now, but try to bump in to her again later that evening, smile and ask for that lovely laugh again. And then maybe, we can start to have a conversation.
