LOL no. That's not what nude beaches are about anyway. They're there for people who enjoy being naked, and those who live a nudist lifestyle, not for people to ogle other naked people. =P Certainly people may still do that, but that kind of ruins the point of nude beaches. They're supposed to be places people can feel comfortable being nude around other people who have a similar mindset, not having to worry or think about how other people view them, or about people checking them out, or conversely pointing and laughing. Going to a nude beach just to look at all the naked bodies pretty much ruins that 'safe' feeling.

Most popular nude beaches are like a cross section of people you would see on a downtown street. Some young, some old. Different ethnicities. Some beautiful, some definitely not. Skinny, fat, you name it. Most of them are in groups from couples to a small gathering, and pretty much stay with them. Many (not all) of the people moving around the beach are either trying to check out everyone else, or showing off themselves to everyone. And quite often these latter people really do not have much to show off. Often girls come with other girls and position themselves where they will not be bothered by the wandering males. (Some may be lesbians, but many are just looking for an all over tan and go with another girl to help avoid pushy males.)

There is opportunity to meet other people there, same as at any beach. But it is usually through common interests. You may be flying a kite and run into others doing that. Or maybe playing Frisbee. On nude beaches, volleyball is popular, and you can often join a group for that.

Will you see members of the opposite gender that are sexually appealing? On a popular beach (lots of people), it is almost assured that you will. But they will be outnumbered by the not so appealing ones, just as in clothed life.

By the way, with so many people, it is pretty safe to visit a nude beach if you are curious about nudity. Generally, people will leave you alone, though they may speak to you if there is something to speak about (you have a cute baby, you are doing an interesting craft, etc.) If you make it known you want to be alone, they will leave, and if they do not, usually the beach community will step in to run someone like that off. Most of these beaches are family friendly (meaning kids are there) and the people are protective like that.

By the way, I am curious as to where udolipixie goes to a beach that is gated. I have been to nudist resorts (private, though membership is both sexes) that had river beach in them, but never have I seen a gated ocean beach in the US.
