Why more than one?

Back in the days of the cave man, (you know, the 80's) it was comen for a Woman to have multiple partners.
"marriage" for most of humans evolution, was not as possible as it was today, with disease's, child deaths, violent critters, raging bands of phi co rapists, and just horrible living conditions, for a long time there simply was not an off women for ever man to have one.

because, for most of human evolution, reproduction was a raise to see who's sperm got to the egg first. A "lucky" woman would probably have 2 or more partners at a time, and the one how came first,.Won

We're pretty much lustful creatures, but the reason for that was to propagate the human race, and that took being attracted to the opposite sex enough to want to spend our lifetimes with her/him so that children would be cared for and eventually parents and grandparents would be cared for by those children. However, some people aren't satisfied with doing what's right. They deviate their lustful feelings towards whoever of the opposite sex they find sexy whether they or the others are married or not and no matter the sexual orientation. This has resulted in people having the very desires you describe. wanting 3-somes, 4-somes, etc. It's a mess even those some people find that a lot of fun. It's a relationship destroyer because it's contrary to the designs of creation. But that's why we have them.

Human beings are hardly monogamous, I'd say most humans at some point or another fantasize about sexual experiences, one of them being threesomes and whatnot. We're pretty lustful creatures, and everyone has his or her own level of interest in certain sexual activities.

Some people like bondage, others like gang bangs or threesomes. Some like peeing fetishes, others like foot fetishes. We're all different and we all have our own preferences.

You ask why we can't just have sex with one person, well, as I said, we're all different and not everyone wants to do that.
