Does the first time make you bleed?

I've heard that most girls do bleed, some don't (those are the lucky ones) I had a run in with Niagra Falls. :) and yeah, it did hurt, so go slow and take it easy with her.

Well yes most of the time- but I did not. Actually it didn't even hurt so that was a plus. But if it had hurt I know my boyfriend would have been gentle on me so that is always a plus :]

Not all girls bleed during their first time and yes it does hurt. Just be really gentle and make sure it's someone you really love, because once it's gone you can never get it back.

Not always. The hymen is what you are referring to when you talk about bleeding. Some girls are born without a hymen, and others break their hymens doing other rough physical activites like horseback riding. A girl could be a virgin and never bleed the first time she has sex.

These answers are pretty good so far, esp darwinluver. In some south african (i'm south african) cultures, there's still a barbaric practice of 'virginity testing' for girls. The girls are checked, and then the results are paraded in front of the community. 'Non virgins' (out of wedlock) are shunned by the society. Unfortunately, this doesn't take into account the other possible causes that could account for the absence of the hymen.

Generally (ie, practically always) the first time will e painful for a girl. Honestly, if you think of it, can it possibly be a comforting thing having a piece of skin torn like that? Apparently, it won't be painful the next time, so that's a bonus. Something that might be a good thing to consider, is that a doctor can be consulted to either break the hymen or stretch it so that it won't be painful or possibly even bleed. Unless the hymen was never there, or something happened that caused it to break, it will bleed. Use a clean cloth and a little warm water with pressure to stop bleeding. I'm sure that she'll greatly appreciate your care.

Some girls do, but a guy shouldn't. Take it slow with her so it won't hurt. It might be painful at first but it should pass after a few times.
