I think there's a fallacy in there in asking him if he'd want a 3way with another guy and you. He wants the freedom and excitement of another woman is all. It's not the same thing to what you were referring to in that context.
It is a turn on for some guys, but sometimes it's more just about the ego that comes along with knowing that he had a threesome, and being able to tell someone about it. I guarantee you he would tell someone if he did that with you.

Two girls (or more) with one dude is a major turn-ON, Anything involving more than 1 dude is a major turn-OFF. Guys are selfish by nature, we want more for ourselves, so the more women, the merrier! Having another dude in the picture does nothing for us (unless we're gay).
I think that it is a guys fantasy to be with two women at once and not another guy with him and his girl. But it is just that a fantasy if it became reality it would be hard for both people to keep from have jealous feelings toward each other thinking that either one would either want to be with the girl or start cheating with another. It's a poorly-thought through fantasy. The idea of having sex with two girls at once fulfills multiple sexual fantasies, both a lesbian fantasy and the proof that he's just too much man for one woman. But the amount of sexual effort required is demanding and if you're under 18 then I imagine (or at least hope) that your boyfriend is around the same age and therefore has nowhere near the requisite amount of sexual experience necessary to pleasure more than one woman at the same time.
