I was twenty when I lost mine and I was able to make a more mature decision in my partner...My husband was older than me when he lost his. Some people will try to make you feel bad out of jealousy or just because they don't care about you or respect your decision. Your body may be the only thing you truly own in this life--don't give it to just anyone.

Your just fine your time will come don't worry about it and my advice with all honesty is to find a girl that's great for you and a virgin or just the first one will do because I imagine that it will be embarrassing for you to be with a women that is far more experienced than you.

Hey I think it's a good thing to be a virgin.... Hell me and my boyfriend are both virgins! He is 18 and I'm 15 so don't worry about it! When you find the right girl and the time is right you'll know it don't just through yourself out there. :)

There's no certain age that you SHOULD be to either have a girlfriend or lose your virginity. I didn't have my first boyfriend (unless those little week-long middle school hallway love affairs count) OR lose my virginity (and that includes pretty much EVERYTHING but have my first kiss) until I was 21, (I'm 22 now, and still with the same man, and about to be engaged...) and I was popular in high school, I had a lot of friends, most of my friends were already having sex, I just wasn't ready... you'll know when you're ready for it.

And until you are, don't, because as corny as it might sound, and I don't know, maybe it's different for girls, but there's a lot that goes along with losing your virginity, emotionally and everything... so don't worry, you're only 17, you're not too old, there's no such thing, I felt the same way, but it'll happen when it's supposed to... =Þ

You are just fine. It's nothing to be worried about or feel embarrassed over. I think that most guys are virgins until they are 18 or 19 and in college. BUT, they lie about it to their friends and stuff. So, you aren't alone at all.

17 is not an age to be worried about virginity. Yeah some guys do it when they are 15-16, maybe, but I guess most women can confirm that, that's the worst sex. And that's how your name stays for the girl. Horrible sex guy. Not because those guys are bad but having sex so young without knowing much, just to do it, will ruin a lot of things.

You don't need to throw yourself out there or anywhere, time will come soon if you don't jump just get some and it will fantastic. Don't blow it.

I'm 17 and a virgin, although I've had about 3 girlfriends, don't sweat it. I'm not sure I'm still going to be a virgin by the age of 18 though. (little over a month away) [Maybe I'm just being cocky.]
As for the girlfriend thing, go out there, don't be afraid to talk to them, ask them out, you might like the results.

Yeah, I've been with 1 girl for 3 years. since sophomore year in high school. I was her first, and she was my second. We are both lucky we don't have diseases. If you're gonna f**k some random chick, be very careful about diseases. Most of the time you'll never be able to tell until its too late, like when your junk falls off.

Listen kid, you not having a girlfriend yet, yeah, work on throwing yourself out there more about that part. But being a virgin at your age, it's really unusual, but ok. I'm 16, still a virgin. Not because I didn't get offers, because I turned them down. NO, not gay. But because of the way I'm living my life.

Before I hit, and this is a good excuse to use if you want, I want to see test results. No girl know what she got or if she got something. I rather be a virgin and cool than have AIDS and be dying.
