My boyfriend and I always use spermicidal condoms, but I'm always scared anyways! This is the third day of my 'period.' It's on schedule, but it's REALLY light. Since I was 11 I've always bled like crazy every month. I am barley bleeding enough for the smallest pad made, changed twice a day.
it's pretty unlikely. condoms are VERY effective. But they aren't 100%, and girls can get periods during pregnancy, so for your peace of mind, buy a test kit.
Condoms are effective, most of the time. You could be, but the stress you experience because you are scared of getting pregnant can produce hormones and cause your period to be light. Only a test can tell you.

Not to scare the girl who asked the question... but it actually is extremely common to bleed when you first get pregnant...its called implantation bleeding... so while it is rare (but still possible) to have periods while you're pregnant, most women do bleed so that doesn't necessarily mean that no eggs have been fertilized. - 9 months ago
