Why is it so sad to be a girl at times?

I think this has to be first time since I've been member that I've seen this question asked, but I have heard girls say some of these things enough times, mostly through joking but still...
On the surface, it does seem like at times it's kinda out of balance between what women have to endure as compared to men, so I certainly understand where you're coming from. But you're definitely looking at the glass haft empty rather than half full. Let's start with your list. Girls have periods, get pregnant and give birth. But in doing so they get one of the greatest rewards possible. That's bringing into the world children that grow to be adults like yourselves, and the bond that exists between a mother and child is the tightest and most loving bond between two people possible. You have the power to be the most influential person in the world to that child for all his or her life. So my take is that it's worth the brief pain necessary to bring that child into the world. Next clothes including mini skirts. Oh man, you're so lucky to have like a million choices to choose from, and to look at my user name lol, you should know what I think of a girl in a mini skirt. haha! But clothes are all in your attitude and you can express in soo many different ways... it's up to you. Just buy clothes that fit your figure and your personality and you'll look absolutely fantastic. Yes you can go out late at night but don't go out alone. Safety is being around other people, and that means at least one other. Choose your friends wisely and those you hang around with. Just be aware of where you're at and where you're going and your surroundings. Don't let guys dominate you. They won't if you don't hang around those type of guys long enough to form unhealthy or dangerous relationships. See, it's not that bad. Some have to do with your attitude towards those you mentioned, and the others have to do with your choices. Always try to make the best choices... one at a time.

Because we have to worry about all that stuff yo just said and more, but we're not the only ones who suffer read ivarei's answer she's right!

it can be sad at times, but with out girls, I agree, there's no guys or girls possible lol
so the beautiful thing about being a girl is we can have different style of clothes more than guys or do different things to our hair. idk. if I meet a good enough guy, he'll make up for the sh*t I have to go through as a girl

reason it sucks to be a guy:
1. you guys can get kicked in the balls, at least we have 9 months to prepare for childbirth
2. unexpected boners
3. you guys get pinned as perverts and rapists
4. men are expected to be bread-winners and make a lot of money for the family
5. not allowed to show weakness
6. facial hair, shaving everyday must be annoying
7. before guys sit down, they have to hike their trousers up a bit...to make room for your balls?
8. if you have a small penis you feel inferior
9. if you have too large of a penis it gets in the way
10. we live longer

yes, it sucks to be a woman. BUT at least we don't have balls.

Is this a question? Well,the worse for me would be the pain(during childbirth) and rape.

well it's only sad if you look at it that way. yeah, periods are a pain, but at least we don't have to go through a bunch of spontaneous erections during puberty...
as for pregnancy and giving birth, I know several women who wouldn't trade that for the world. clothes and miniskirts meant to make girls sexy to men? if I can't find a guy who likes me for me when I'm wearing a pair of jeans, then that's much more his loss than mine.
yeah, getting raped is possible I guess, but I'm not going to stop it from letting me live my life.
pain during sex? only the first couple times, unless you're doing it wrong. and, can you say multiple orgasms? I'll stick with being female, thanks.

Choices, girls. Make good choices:

1. You're stuck with that. Sorry.
2. It's the 21st century. If you're pregnant, it's because you want to be, or because you're a damn fool.
3. Dangerous, yeah. Nothing like the 18th-19th century, though, when you could be confident that your pregnancy could kill you.
4. Who said you had to buy them? I thought the clothing wars ended in the '60s, when t-shirt/jeans became standard.
5. See 4.
6. This is serious, and bad, and all too common.
7. Painful sex is bad sex. Someone's screwing up. Speak up and fix it.
8. This is complete choice. Make it known that you want a guy you can dominate, and they'll show up, in numbers.

Generally, if you're not doing it for blood or money, you're choosing it. If you don't like it, choose to stop.

What a pessimistic attitude. I think you need to temper your list, which is arguable nonsense at the least, with a list of positives.

The only thing sad about this is that you think this to be true.

I take issue with 4 and 8.
Nobody holds a gun to their heads and makes them wear any particular clothes.
And a lot of girls like a dominant man.
