I was reading through some of the posts and it got me thinking. I'm still a virgin. I haven't even been in the same room with a naked woman. But if I had had phone sex would this make me any less of a virgin?

There's all sorts of questions out there about, having oral sex, mutual masturbation with boyfriend/girlfriend, and probably some even about having anal sex. But in this world of cyberspace you have other options.

I've read articles on "emotional cheating." It's when a person has conversations (online, texting, e-mail, or even to a degree in person) and share a level of information with the other person and stop sharing with his/her spouse. There wasn't any form of physical contact. So it wasn't the traditional cheating where sex or kissing or something like that was involved. It was simply talking and sharing personal things to a degree with another person beside your spouse. I guess it was called an "emotional affair." You can look it up on Wikipedia.

To me if there was physical contact then it was sex and that meant something. But now with this new world of online cyber sex and phone sex does doing these things make you any less of a virgin?

Update: I forgot to mention that I am one to believe that cyber sex or phone sex with a person who is not your spouse is also cheating. It doesn't just have to be physical.    7 months ago

The person doing the action doesn't get to decide whether it's cheating. The person on the other end gets to decide it, since they are the one that is hurt.

As long as each part of a couple is not doing anything with ( or looking at ) other naked people, things usually are fine.

I honestly think that this is personal thing that you should divide, if you feel that the emotions of sex are enough to influence you then that's your call. Scientifically speaking you are no longer a virgin when you have physical intercourse with someone. Like I said though what you believe is your vice no one should be able to tell you differently. I think that virtual sex is cheating as well.

I think there is only one way to not be a virgin any more, and that's to have real sexual intercourse with a woman. There are no degrees of virginity; you are either one, or you are not!

Everything else you described is just experimentation.

Never heard of such thing---levels of virginity. Either you have had sex or you haven't. But then again, some people specify they haven't had oral sex, and they are oral virgins, etc. But when it comes to the activity of sex, don't think there is much gray area there.

I agree with your point of view on things. I don't see physical contact with another person while dating a different person as not cheating. Any form of sex or that kind of interaction would be defined as cheating in my book. Although a form of contact other than physical wouldn't affect the person being cheated on as much but it would cause trouble in trust issues.

For your question though, Technically you are still a virgin because many people define being a virgin as having physical contact with one another, engaging in the act. Some people have different views about it, but I'm sure the majority of them think of losing your virginity means having actual sex the way it's suppose to be. It would be similar to watching an adulterated film and claiming you aren't a virgin because you watched it. There will be a lot of different opinions though so it really depends on who your asking or referring to.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 10 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I would wear a light blue halter top, a pair of shorts and a pair of all white nikes. My ideal First date would have to be us ( me and him) going out for a picnic and talking ... getting to know each other better. Then maybe a walk through the park.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Im super fun. I love to party

Would you date me?
