What's the difference between 'pepperoni' nipples and 'puffy' nipples?

ARGH.

When people say "pepperoni nipples", they really mean larger areola, and given that most pepperoni isn't really that big in diameter, they really should be talking about "salami areolas." This is all just talking about areola SIZE, though.

"Puffy nipples" are usually larger areola, but the areola usually protrudes from the breast a bit, or even a lot, and may be more cone-shaped. Also, the nipples are often a bit more flat, meaning they don't stick out very far when erect, and when soft, may be barely above the level of the areola.

Anyway, despite what a FEW people here think, there's NOTHING wrong with larger areola, nor with "puffy nipples."

I'm going to give you some examples:

The #1 p*rn star in the 80s was the underage Traci Lords. She was p*rn's first mega-star, and that was BEFORE anyone found out she was underage. She had large, puffy areola, yet was the biggest p*rn star of her day, and is STILL hugely collected despite all but one of her movies being banned in the US.

Alicyn Sterling was a popular p*rn star in the early 90s, who was able to get some mainstream movie and TV work out of it. She was an AA-cup with very puffy nipples for the first year of her career, then got D-cup implants which created massive areola and puffy nipples. She was hugely popular in p*rn and in particular in photographs, primarily because of her spectacular puffy nipples and large areola. Considering her fairly short p*rn career and relatively few movies, she was a huge star, and her nipples/areola were always at the forefront.

More recently, redhead Faye Reagan has been a huge star in the last 5 years, and she's a natural 34C with large, puffy areola. As with both Traci Lords and Alicyn Sterling, producers have found that it you put Faye's picture on the DVD cover, it will outsell other DVDs by a wide margin, which is why she appears on the cover of nearly every DVD she's in.

So, obviously, those large, puffy areolas not only aren't a problem (except maybe to a tiny percentage of guys), they are a desirable feature that ensures higher-than-average sales. Something to think about...

i probably have the pepperoni nipples lol I think its referring to the areolae and not just the nipples. because I can't see that happening.

i have large both. I like them though so I'm good

I have slightly puffy areolaes and nipples are are eraser like when hard. I've always been told I've got nice breast. My areolaes are not small but not large either.
