Alright I don't know if you've done it yet since you asked this 2 months ago but I'll tell you this anyway. 15% of couples using condoms get pregnant every year. that about 1 in every seven couples!. If you don't want to take the risk don't do it for yourself just as much as the kid you could give birth to. If you have doubts don't do it. Just don't do it. no matter what any one says birth control leaves 8% percent pregnant a year. That's one in twelve sexually active girls. Don;t let him pressure you.

Go to your doctor, and tell him exactly what you told us. You have so many choices that ignorance is the only thing worth fearing.

Oh please do not take any chances.
Anonymous is right! Gert on the pill & have him use a condom. If he doesn't like it then no nookie for cookie!

if you really want to have sex with him then just to be safe get "The day after pill" and try to get birth control but it takes a month to kick in.
If your going to have sex you should know, hey you have a chance.
having sex was never meant for pleasure, it was to keep our species going.

ok well maybe go see your doctor. ask them for the pill or something. if you don't wanna do that then just tell him you are not ready.

use every kind of protection you can. I highly recommend that you don't do it though because you are obviously not ready, even though I know its hard to hold off.

Either get on the pill or get an IUD. I worry about that stuff the same way you do, and I wasn't able to relax and enjoy myself until I had something that was better at preventing pregnancy than condoms.

Get on a low dose birth control pill and use condoms. Assuming that you take your pill every day and that you use the condoms properly, your chances of getting pregnant will be slim to none.

I have the same issue. I decided to use condoms and the pill, my boyfriend wasn't happy about wearing condoms if I was using the pill too but he come round. There's still a risk but its a lot less likely if you use both.

elmobbe Seems you two are close if you tell each other everything then he should respect your views. Don't have sex with him unless you are ready although using the pill or having the implant there are many options to take going to your doctor will give you loads of advice!
but always wear condoms what ever your choice chosen. if he doesn't want to use one there is always fenadoms (like a condom but women wear them) he'll never no :)
good luck on your options - 6 months ago
