Well when me and my boyfriend did it for the first time we used lube, of course. He played with it a bit with his finger. He put lube on his finger then just outlined the anal ring and would slowly put his finger in and I guess the hole expands so when he saw that it had expanded a bit more he started playing with his penis instead of the finger and just slowly put it in. You can't just expect to jam it in there. Always make sure to use lube though. That is a must!
