Ok so I recently hooked up with a guy friend of mine..actually this time we just made out all night - a lot of groping/fondling on his part to, but years ago we had sex once (it was great) and we've managed to stay friends even went on a few dates after the incident, but not really sure what to think about it this time. I consider him a good friend, but he's not the guy I tell all my thoughts to either. Just really cool to hang out with. I have to say I don't go around hooking up with guys normally, drinking was involved, and I definitely wanted more. Will power and holding back not wanting to be slutty really sucks. LoL I am 27 after all... not that it should matter. If I really thought about him in the dating sense.. I think we would have a lot of fun together and I would do it, but I couldn't see a long term thing.. is it bad to hook up? I think I sound like a guy - any thoughts?

I'd be careful if I were you. Things like this could become awkward and ruin a friendship. Honestly, it seems that you are already on that road. Beware.

To discuss it ? Well, if he wanted to discuss anything, he would have done it by now . If he wanted something steady, he would have mentioned it . Why rock the boat ? But if you find a guy to have a future with, you'll have to tell your friend right away .
What do you want? If you want to keep hooking up, tell him when you feel like hooking up again. If you just want to be friends just be friends. If you keep hooking up, he is gonna see you as a potential booty call and not a platonic friend.
If you don't see a long term thing then I would say go for it. But if you want to eventually date this guy, hooking up with him as a friend isn't going to get him to ask you to be exclusive. Why is he going to want to make a commitment when he can get the goods for free? So this is really up to you. If you just want to have fun and get some when you need it, stay friends with benefits. If you have feelings, however, chances are you are going to get hurt because he will just use you. If you want a relationship, you flirt relentlessly but don't give up anything (not even making out), make it clear you want more and he doesn't get more unless he wants to date.
