Well If you start shaving it, it becomes very high maintenance. You have to shave it practically every day and it itches like a bitch. You can get lazer hair removal called a Brazilian, but you have to get it done multiple times to keep it off.
I find that most guys don't like pubic hair, they say that no pubic hair enhances sex and intimacy - it's easier for guys to perform oral on their girl. I wouldn't stress too much unless you are really head over heels for a guy. Till then just keep it well trimmed.

Living in NYC, an ideal would be a walk in Central Park, then rent a row boat and we'd go around the lake for a while that seems fun and that would give us time to get to know each other 2. Then eat at my FAVORITE sushi place (MATSU- it is great) If she likes sushi. Dress causal blue jeans, t-shirt maybe a short sleeve button down over it. End a walk down street semi-silent, kiss on cheek bye.
