It's a hot topic at the moment; models just seem to keep getting thinner and thinner. But does anyone really find those sticking-out rib cages and skeletal arms attractive?

Super-skinny girls are HOT

I prefer a bit more meat on a girl's bones

It's unhealthy and unrealistic to portray women this way

I don't really care either way if they have a good personality

Skinny models are so dumb looking. It's gross and not attractive, they advertise this though because America is fat and agencies are saying,"you should look like this. " But hey it's better than being fat!

Most models look sickly thin and I think its disgusting. I want to see a woman in those clothes not a little boy with make up.

I don't know why girls are getting smaller and smaller. My personal opinion is that this is not attractive at all. There needs to be some curves and shape on a women.

I'd rather not date a skeleton... if I became attracted to a girl that was this skinny, I would make an effort to get her help in gaining weight.

a woman should have some curves. even if she is naturally petite, that is fine too but don't starve yourself unnaturally. I'm sorry that looks disgusting. I think guys who like that are subconsciously gay. what is so attractive about seeing her ribs stick out from her chest? that's not even healthy! being that thin should be looked down on just like being fat is - its both unhealthy and gross looking

They don't look hot, they just look like living skeletons. They look so strange. I really can't see how anyone could find that attractive. I'm just wondering now if there are any guys who do.

It doesn't matter if we find them attractive. The matter of the fact is the modeling industry celebrates and congratulates such thinness. When have you ever seen pricey brands such as Chloe, BCBG, or any of the models used in runway over a size 0? The top models of the world are rail thin and get paid millions to stay that way. Did you know sometimes you can't even get an agent to look at you unless you are 100 lbs. The problem is girls are killing themselves to be like these models and no one is doing a thing about it. Just a couple of months ago I read that the face of fashion in Australia was a 13 year old. How sad is that? I think Marya Hornbacher was right on when she said we turn skeletons into goddesses, as if they might teach us how not to need. Meaning we glorify these unhealthy images of woman, and put them on a pedestal and start taking our cues so we can be just like them. And sure we've heard new regulations put in to help minimize the problems with the whole unhealthy model thing but the problem is no one is enforcing any of the rules. I think the fashion world needs a whole lot of change if you ask me. And sorry for the rant!

Question Asker Right on! :) Frankly it shocks me that there is such a thing as a "size 0" at all! It makes it sound like something to aspire to. I also think it's creepy that so many "fashionable" things to do make women look more like little girls. Brazilian waxing for example. - 4 months ago
JenH Fashion companies use marketing and sales tactics that work. Consumers, in mass, must stop purchasing the products sold using borderline (if not full-blown) anorexic models. When consumers stop buying the products, companies will stop marketing / selling them on skeletons. How to make this happen? Not sure. Kudos to Dove for portraying and celebrating real women. Maybe other companies will follow, provided sales numbers increase. - 4 months ago

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
Tight pair of jeans with a light colored top and most likely a top under it.. I like to layer my clothes...
A nice pair of boots to top it off.. give me a little height

How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
My hairs pretty shirt but Id blow dry it so it has a little height to it.. and show off my highlights. I'm not to big in make-up I wear it once in a while.. A little eye liner some eye shadow.. and of course lip gloss and finish t with some dangling ear rings
