Should I even try it though?

WOW I was in the same boat as you well you get what I mean lol. I don't normally wear skinny jeans but just saw them and figured JUMP lol now I can't get enough of them. I don't reckon skinnys are emo it just has to be worked into the style your going after. It goes well with boots etc. I say GO FOR IT.

Whats the harm in trying?

Well I'm sure they'd look great, but make sure you're comfortable with them before you start wearing them. They're are a pretty extreme fashion though.

I'd say split the difference and just get a quality pair of straight leg jeans. They don't have to be tight, but they'd fit skinny legs well, without looking baggy or too tight.

Heck yeah, spice up your look its fun and keeps you young. You regret the things you don't do in life more than the things you do. At least try them out shopping is fun :P have fun! Good?

6' 3" and 170. That's pretty slim guy. IMHO. I'd leave the skinny jeans on the rack. Just because they're in style doesn't mean everyone should be wearing them.

However, if you think you can pull it off then give them a try. Just remember that if you catch a lot of people staring, it doesn't mean they think it looks good. Better still, grab a girl friend who's stylish and try on a pair. She should be able to tell you before you make the investment.
