So I just read somewhere on this site that guys don't like babydoll tops. In case you don't know, those are the shirts that are tight up top and cinched below the bust, then flowy and sometimes poofy below that. What if the top isn't poofy at all, though? What if it's just loose at the bottom but tight at the top with a low neckline? The one I'm trying to describe in particular has short sleeves that are a little loose but cinched at the hem and a low, pleated neckline. Would that still make me look pregnant? (that's what it said in the other posts, lol. )
I gotta be honest, every time I see them, they definitely do look like maternity wear. Anything that is form fitting up top, but then very loose and flowy around the waist makes it seem like something a pregnant woman would wear. Some are better looking than others, but there really aren't any that I think look great on a girl. Just my opinion though.
Babydolls definitely look like maternity tops, but I like them. They're good for girls with "curvy middles" to hide their stomachs. I personally don't care what guys think, the one time I wore a babydoll to school, I got tons of compliments.
Some of them are great and then there are some tops that just look wrong! I have couple but they are very fancy and good for a great party and they look great with skinnies and stuff. And they don't make me look pregnant. They are not overly done. Anytime I wore any of them. Guys seem to love them (at least the ones I'm around). Lots of babydoll tops are just crazy loose and cinched. Those ones don't look appealing at all. Personally speaking.
In this case, your top doesn't sound too bad and I don't think it'll make you look pregnant. Lol I think you should wear it.
Girls I am seriously considering having a tattoo on my pubic mound and outer labia. I have several tats already so I know how much it hurts, that's...
