So my hair was down to my waist, and my senior year of high school I cut it all off to above my shoulders. All my girl friends loved it, my guy friends not so much, one of them that I was really close to punch me in the arm and asked why I did it? If there's a particular guy you're interested and whose opinion you care about, I'd say get it, looks are the first attraction anyway. But if you don't have a guy in mind and you jus want to see what its like, cut it, if you don't like it it'll grow back.
My hair was down to the middle of my back and I recently cut my hair off. Its now at my shoulder on the sides and rly short in the back so I can have a messy look. My husband loves my hair short, it turns him on lol. it just suits me better then longer hair. Don't listen to other peoples thoughts about it, you do what you want to do. Its your hair. Certain looks look better on differnt people so I think you should go for it, I love my short hair!
Well I have some proof that some guys like short hair. I have a bff who has the same length in the picture and practically all the guys in the class like her. =\ I have long hair/bangs thing and I hardly get noticed. But I love the hairstyle you choose though, it's really cute. But if you have really long hair now, maybe they are so used to it. . but really, do what you want. :D
Those "Pixie" cuts make me gag in my mouth, but there's nothing wrong with shoulder length hair. For whatever reason I'm generally attracted to girls with longer hair, I don't know why. I can appreciate short hair sometimes though, just not "guy" short. There are some decent styles out there. Then again, I like "messy" hair as the girls I know call it.
That style I personally don't like, but that's just me, I know other short styles that I like better (generally straight hair).
But that's just me, short hair can be attractive it's just a matter of finding the right audience for it. Don't worry about what others think and flaunt your style, it's who you are.

Because we're used to seeing or maybe prefer to see beautiful, long, flowing hair on a girl. It adds to that overall "girly" attraction that we chase. Shorter hair is offbeat and takes a guy some getting used to before he looks past it. But a girl that looks good with short hair and/or doesn't care what others opinions are, are attractive too :)
don't cut your hair short! you'll regret it and it'll either never grow long again or take AGES to grow back! Everyone I know who has cut their hair has regretted it, I know I did! I had hair just below my chest line and cut it to shoulder length,now it has been a year and a half and it still hasn't grown back to it's original length (but it's getting pretty close to it I guess). all I know was that it looked weird with short hair. keep it long!
wearing your hair shoulder length is attractive...it's when girls take it a step further, shave their heads and look like GI Jane. That's not attractive...any hairstyle that makes you look like a man is unattractive.
Obviously with shoulder length hair...it's still feminine, so don't worry about it.
A social viewpoint in the west implies a girl with short hair is more "manly".
This is why it's a turnoff, the perception of what the girls' personality is rather than how she looks.
For me I have Trichophillia which means I am overtly attracted to hair, in most cases this applies to long, lushes hair that I can run my fingers through. Apparently many men have this.

I don't like short hair at all. It just seems kinda manly in a way. Don't get me wrong I have seen some pretty hot girls with short hair; but if they would've had longer hair then they'd looked twice as good.
I actually find girls who can pull off super short hair extremely attractive - moreso than girls with nice long hair. I'm always amazed to find myself in the minority. It's not a look for everybody, though. If you think it will look good, go for it!

I don't even think shoulder length is short. I think it's really cute. Once you start going above your chin then it's usually not attractive and too short.

i know guys that say it's a turn off because they feel like they're kissing a guy. I don't get why if its like shoulder length but that's what my friends say.
