Too Fat?

Question

I am 5'8 and a size 12. I feel like a look like a giant compared to all my thin and short friends. If you saw me walking down the street would you think I look like a giant? lol would any guys date a girl that size?

and don't tell me to work out and shit. I already do that, I just have a load of health issues.

OMG.why every time I get on here.some female is complaining about how she looks or what she weights? Men, don't do this. I hope you realize this. Men have the mentality , either you like me or you don't, your lose. Please accept yourself for who you are. If you want to lose weight then do it.that is if you are unhappy with how you look or if your weight is causing the health issues. Otherwise hold your head up and be proud and confident in yourself and who you are. Men see this confidence and it is very attractive. I really don't know why women want to impress these shallow men. I would rather have a man that would love me when I am skinny, fat, or if I get in a car accident and my leg get amputated. Lol Now that's a real man. These same men who complain about the little physical imperfections are the same ones who will cheat on you with the prettier girl or leave you when things aren't perfect. There is no such thing as perfection.

i think you are probably a beautiful young lady you just got to love yourself. Don tworry so much about what people think. I size 12 is not big for your height. It depends on your body structure.i mean some girls have little extra junk in their trunk.and they need to wear a bigger size to accomodate. But that doesn't mean they are fat. Better yet, you should go by your bmi and body fat percentage to determine a healthy weight. Don't go by sizes , they don't mean anything.

Girl please, you are not fat!

I am the same height and size and my stomach is flat and I have a figure. Sure, I could loose about 15-20 pounds and look super slim and trim but your size is normal especially for your height. Sometimes it just depends on how you are built. I have a friend with an extremely petite upper body and narrow waist but she has the big booty video girl lower body and she is 5'9 size 12. Don't trip off size. It's all about look, curves, and having a figure. Ya know, a nice shape. A man has to have something to hold onto girl! Who wants to do "the deed" with a toothpick! lol. Love yourself.

When it all comes down to it physical attraction will pass in mates. Someone can be beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside. But guess what, what is in you will eventually show on the outside. Who wants to be with a complete douche bag?

I wouldn't you think you were a giant probably because I'm 5'10-5'11. I would date a girl your size you shouldn't be self conscious about your size you should be proud to be the way you are go strut your stuff *finger snap*

I dated a shorter women who wore a larger size than that. She had health issues as well, but it didn't stop me from liking her. As long as it's clear that you're actively trying to stay healthy, it shouldn't be an issue.

is that what you wanted to hear? downing yourself about your weight is not going to make it go away embrace your body and love it. your 5'8 with curves I see nothing wrong with that, that's not big. I am 2 sizes down from you and I am only 5'5 I love my body and have no problem telling anyone men happen to love it also :) men love confident women. and if you THINK that no guy would date you at that size your wrong, maybe your negative self esteem will push them away.

Sorry honey but you don't know what fat is. A size 12 is not fat! A size 28 however.

If you think you look like crap, then you do. I have seen way bigger women enter a room and own it, driving the men crazy.

I'm a 12 at 5'4 and when I go dancing, all the men ask me to dance. I dress conservatively too BTW. My size 0 and 2 friends complain about me getting all the dances. What can I tell you, I'm fierce like that!

It doesn't sound huge to me. I think that being 5'8 and wearing a size 12 is sexy ( I am not a homo). It's about the confidence and all you need to focus on is how well you can feel comfortable in your own skin. If you know you look good then so will everyone else. Just be happy with yourself. I know its easy said then done, but you must at least give yourself a reality check and know that size 12 is nothing because numbers don't define who you are.

A size 12 isn't bad at all, especially considering your height!

I suppose shorter girls do tend to be thinner since they're smaller all around, but we're all different. We can't all be a size 0 and that's great, because we're not all supposed to be the same. Work with what you have :]

Sizes are lousy to go by.  It's really different for different girls.  I looked like a beast when I was a size 10, but I've got a friend who looks great at a size 14.  I know my narrow shoulders have something to do with that, but I don't think that's totally it.
