if you shave up there they grow back thicker and thicker and then you really do have to shave up there.
you shouldnt even shave, you should get a little do it yourself at home waxing kit. that way the hairs stay thin and you don't end up with these fat black stumps coming out of your legs. but obviously its kinda unpractical for you to wax. but definitely listen to mummy :-p

It depends. I usually shave above the knee out of habit but my hair is blonde and is not visible so if I"m wearing a dress, I'll shave the whole leg and if I'm just wearing pants I'll shave just halfway. It really depends if you have a lot of visible hair and you feel uncomfortable about it, it's normal
I shave my entire leg when I am wearing shorts or anything that will show my legs above the knee. When I am way too lazy and don't really give a shit - I go with below the knees only. And no I don't find that weird because - I barely have any hair on my legs - so even if I shave below the knee - my other half of the leg is usually smooth.

I actually shave above my legs because it looks more attractive to me. It would be just weird if you let the top hair of your legs look like a jungle and the bottom silky smooth.

I do in the summer, but in the winter I rarely do and plus the hairs don't grow as fast during the winter because of the cold weather so I don't even need to.
