I know preferred hair colors on a girl have been discussed here a lot (probably too much :P), but I have a specific question I want more information on. I know tastes differ and this question is not so much for guys, but for girls, particularly those girls who have had different hair colors.
So here's the preface: my elder sister who dyes her hair blond from the age of 16, but have also tried other hair colors (red, light brown, possibly some other I don't remember of) told me that her own experience was that blondes actually get a lot more attention from men. After that I've heard a couple more people say the same thing. From what I've seen this seems to be true; often even not very pretty blondes seem to be very popular with guys. But since I haven't had my own experience I'm curious:
Did/do guys notice you and approach you more when you were/are a blonde?
I like a womans hair like I like my car's paint job and my coffee. jet black. Blondes aren't my thing really. I'm a red head so I deal with enough shit about hair color. No one ever wants to show the red heads any love- j
I don't approach girls any differently if they are blonde. To be honest I prefer long dark hair to blondes. But again this isn't that important, and doesn't really affect the way I approach them anyway.
I have had pretty much every hair color you can think of. Even a few that aren't natural hair colors like purple and pink. I noticed that personally, I got less attention when I was blonde. I actually got/get the most attention when my hair is natural. I think a lot of times it differs for different people as according to what color looks good against their face and skin.
