I recently saw one of my Ex's.and she has a new hair cut, but she keeps putting a clip into it and makes this funky top horn/pony tail.

how do I tell her that she looks cuter with her hair down but try and not stir up and old feelings?

I'm just kinda weary that a compliment about her looks and how she should wear her hair would mislead her, and she would read into it too much.

Update: you gals are right.I never considered not saying anything at all about the matter. I guess I just am a little OCD. thanks for the advice.    4 months ago

Well, actually if I was in her position and you came up to me and said you piece, I wouldn't read anything into it initially, but maybe later on some feelings might begin to stir!
but it really depends on the girl and how the relationship ended!
it she still has feelings for you, obviously she'll read more into it than actually is there!
and if you actually tell her that its simply an observation, and that no feelings are involved, she might even be a little hurt!
this is a difficult situation, did you consider just not telling her anything? Or do you really have to?
I don't think that you want to hurt her feelings when it can be avoided right?

best of luck!

What's it to you how "cute" she looks? She's an ex.

I agree with the others don't waste your time. Find a girl that cares about you to compliment, and to help.

Don't say anything. She's on her own, so she'll have to learn on her own.
