I have really bad skin. And recently it has gotten worse. I hate using foundation or any other make-up to cover it up. I am using Pro-active right now. The problem with proactive is that sometimes it works and then other times it has no effect. I want to clear up some of the acne on my face and knowing that facials won't completely get rid of my problem, I just want to clarify: Would it help?
Yes, it did for me When my skin got worse and was really bad, I started having facials about every two weeks, and it really helped unclog and cleanse my face from blackheads and stuff like that, before they got a chance to become pimples. my skin improved and while I still had acne, it wasn't as abundant. after your skin improves, you don't have to have them as often. speak to your dermatologist. :)
For me, it depends on what kind of food I eat. I recently started eating healthy again such as chicken, fruits, vegetables etc. and my skins is starting to look good again. If I eat KFC, a few days later I will get an outbreak of acne. Hope this helps.
i had almost severe acne for a vveeeeeeeeeery long time, but ever since I've been using an organic face wash called Jasons Apricot Scrub ( and on occasion a natural shea butter soap), its been clear for about two years, but to add on the effect, I've been using an oil free moisturizing lotion mixed with a drop or two of tea tree oil or lavender oil.tea tree oil makes your face feel very refreshed and awake, and lavender oil is very soothing and is good aromatherapy for your health. both oils play another major part in curing acne. it worked for me:)
