When he said this it set me back

There are a**holes in the world, and that guy who said that to you is one of those a**holes out there. Don't let that a-hole bother you.

I'm out of highschool now, but what I can tell you is random people sometimes say the most random things. He probably didn't think too much of what came out of his mouth and you shouldn't either. Really is a mean thing to say and people should be more considerate and polite when they talk to one another. If it were me I would have nailed him in his head for saying that or at least say something like 'well you're one to talk, first off your face looks like a cow's a** which is alittle better than saying his face looks like cow's s**t.'

People have issues, maybe it's the way they were raised, no respect for anyone else, they should think. I'm surprised he's a senior, I thought older kids are supposed to be more mature, but anyway, Don't let other peoples (especially a-holes) affect you that much.

I still remember one girl in my highschool geography class who said I was stupid, like just random out of nowwhere, I don't even know her, but she's stupid because I kicked her ass on the final exams. In highschool, I was bullied, now I get hit on by so many guys out there, at work even, so yeah, if confidence is an issue for you, work on it. You have to feel confident so that these little words don't affect you so much. Doesn't your older sister like help you with that stuff? Honestly, just take care of yourself and don't let a random a-hole's words affect you like that. You shouldn't be set back. I wasn't the prettiest girl in highschool either, but I worked on it and now I'm more confident. Anyways, take care, and don't feel bad! ;*)

by lower classman, I'm guessing you are a freshman? I didn't "blossom" until I was almost 17 and now I can't go anywhere without somebody asking if I have a boyfriend (and I do, 4 years and counting) or if I'm married. most of my teenage life I was an ugly duckling: frizzy hair, glasses, braces. never had acne, but I would always get a really bad zit either right in the middle of my forehead or on my chin. I can't even look at old photos of myself. but now it's like I'm miss hotty hot hotty, I've even had chicks ask me out, I take it as a compliment now, but at first it kinda freaked me out.

just wait, you haven't stopped developing and growing and changing yet, you'll get there, just don't rush it. use this time to get to know yourself so that when you blossom into a beautiful swan (or rose or whatever you want to blossom into) you won't forget who you are on the inside because the outside means nothing if you forget to be yourself. and always remember to take care of yourself, inside and out (excercise good hygiene, if the most gorgeous woman in the world had bad breath, no one would want to kiss her).
