Why do some single girls cover their butt with a shirt tail or tie a sweater around their waist to hide it.  This is very annoying when you are checking a girl out.  A guy can't tell what kind of a figure she has when this is done.  I am not trying to judge them, I am just trying to see if they are someone I might be attracted to.  Now ladies, please don't go off the deep end when commenting.  This is not the only category I use to determine if I want to date a girl, so don't accuse me of being shallow like some sensitive girls are prone to do when they here a question like this.

I do it, LOL because guys keep looking at my butt. It's so big and it's such a hassle and causes a lot of trouble for me. I can never wear the sweats with Juicy on the bottom LOL. I have a nice figure, but sometimes I just don't feel like being bothered with the attention my butt gets.

My buns help me when I want to move to the front of the line, get into the club or get discounts with major purchases. My girlfriends used to tell me to use my power of the booty to get VIP passes. I know it sounds crazy right but it works. It works the same way for boobs too!

Is it shallow that you use this to determine if you want to date a girl? No more shallow than being rejected if you don't drive the newest model Jaguar and spend lots of money on her to impress her. Everyone wants something different, no everyone wants something and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

If I even think a guy is talking to me because of my bum, then I just take or spend his money without guilt. It kinda works both ways and each by themselves are equally crass but I'm glad you have other criteria. Maybe you should find out about the girl and talk to her before you start piecing together her body parts to determine whether you would date her. You are probably missing out on a lot of nice women. I can understand why Muslim women cover up from head to toe.

For women in general, it gets pretty old knowing that you are constantly being disected body part by body part. But we all know guys do it. So if some ladies are going off the deep end, that's the reason behind it. I think in general we are all pretty tired of it. I only make it to benefit me.

I never really thought that I was covering my butt so guys couldn't check it out when I put a sweater  around my waist! haha. It was to get the damn thing out of the way or w/e. I guess I can see where you are coming from, but the majority of the time the girl won't have something around her waist so there are plenty of other times to check out their butt. Personally, it looks kind of dorky anyways! haha

This is just my experiance, I USED to do this when I was younger be it because

*I just wanted a place to keep the sweater w.o putting it away and having it handy

*on monthly bill and felt paranoide

*was wearing underwear with a pantyline

*sat in/on something

*ripped my pants

Man, that sweater came in handy!

I had a friend do that, and the thing is she had no ass. LOL  Perhaps it is because they are either insecure about it or they just don't want you staring at it, especially if the girl is wearing something like leggings.  I think it is sad that boys are so obsessed with butts.  When the woman gets old that butt sags.

That's the point - they don't want you to tell what kind of figure they have or to look at their butt.  Girls might do that if they are self concious about their figure and think their butt is too big or too small.

well, I do it whenever I don't feel like carrying my sweatear on my arm or when I'm not wearing it. lol. but sometimes. I do it when I see a bunch of guys. idk. I feel harrased them starring. I should feel glad someone wants to 'check me out' but idk. I just feel weird. lol. but, I don't do it on purpose the majority of the time!

there is no deep reason behind it. She got hot and didn't feel like carrying it or maybe she has a stain on her butt. Trust me girls don't think "oh look at that guy over there. I don't want him to see my butt so I'm going to cover it up".

Well I do it becaus ei hate my butt it's a little bigger than other girls and so guys don't notice my legs as much sinse my legs are big-ish (they are really muscular from sports) and because I don't want people staring at my butt it isn't nice I don't like and I don't want to be apart of it
