Is being pale good or bad?

Tanned usually. Blonde girls and pale skin (not too pale. I don't want to see veins) go along really well. If your not blonde then usually tanned.

I think pale skin is a bit elegant in the fact that in older times it showed you had some prestige and wealth since you did not have to work the fields.

Skin which is tanned has its qualities too though.

Oddly, though I'm most attracted to dark-skinned women (black women), if I were to date a white woman, I find pale skin more attractive. I have abslutely no idea why, as this seems to make no sense at all, but, ces't la vie! Go figger.

Between white, black, and brown (different nationalities) skin I really have no distinct preference, but between pale and tan (white girl) I definitely prefer pale. Dark tans on white girls are disgusting, especially once you notice the contrast compared to their natural skin color. It's like looking at a burnt Hot Pocket.

If it complements the rest of your features it sure can, dark hair and dark eyes would fit a pale complection nicely.

I think it can very well be attractive. I know many people with pale skin who look great. I couldn't see them with tan skin.

I'm pretty surprised by the guys answers too haha. My natural skin colour is closer to the darker side, so like light caramel/olive tone, but my boyfriend loves it when I'm even darker. Usually guys I talk to prefer tanned skin.

Being pale is amazing. Hahaha. Most of my friends are tanned, but I just can't get any color whatsoever. If I go to the beach, I come back as a living tomatoe. Anyways, I learned to "embrace" the pale. I love my skin color and I think it goes well with my dark hair.

i think both tan and pale skin looks good. I'm kinda a mixture of the two although more paler than tan.

I'm not a guy but I think that there is a preference for tan. White isn't bad but there are a lot of people who are tan. A lot of guys find artificial tans to be unattractive. Pale or tan-- its what you want. People worry too much about being someone else. I like to be tan but that's my preference I have plenty of friends who like to be lighter. it depends on complection.

hey, at least you CAN tan, if I go for a 15 minute drive with the sunroof open, I'll get a burn! I've never met anyone whiter than me who's not an albino.
