Guys, I'm not talking sleeves, but do you find one or a couple tattoos on a woman attractive? And is it really true, do you think that a tat on the lower back is a sign that the woman is easy?
Girls, what about guys? Do you find tats on guys attractive?
It's a mix for me. Generally I'm not a big fan of tattoos, but if they are not cheap looking, not overly big, and places not to "hide" them, then they can be OK. It really depends on the woman and the tattoo. I'm not sure about the lower back tattoo specifically, but I know that tattoos can give off certain signals about a person. Some guys might be deterred by a tattoo getting that "bad girl" vibe.
I'm not really into tattoos on women, especially the ones on the lower back. If tats are a part of her look though (biker chick or rocker) then somehow I don't mind as much. Women that try to be edgy with a tattoo and still want to be soft around the edges, it's like mixed signals.
I think the stigma that women who have those are easy is just something that's spread around pop-culture. It's the first thing I think of when I see one. Even though I don't know the woman. Stereotyping is a hard thing to overcome.
I have three tattoos myself, and they are all on my arms. I sometimes forget that I even have them since you can't see them when I am dressed. It wouldn't really matter to me if I got them removed or not. I guess that relates to the question as I don't really care too much about tattoos on women either. Maybe if they can't be seen when clothed, and I only saw them when we were intimate, it would be like a special knowledge. And easier to accept.
The toughest thing about tats is they are permanent (the new inks coming out will be nice, easier to remove), so if you are thinking about getting one, talk to some people who have them for pointers. Make sure it's a design that won't look silly as you get older.
I have a couple tattoo's that are all related in style so they look cool. I like original tattoo's. But when I see the same placement or design, I think of a trend, or people falling into a trend. And I like to see some kind of art work, like, at the beach. But not like, at the grocery store. I like it when it's kind of a surprise that you find out that someone has one, and you never knew that they had one in the first place (like on a regular, everyday basis).
I have one tattoo of a life size butterfly in full color just above my left ankle. I can cover it up with a sock if I want so it's not a huge deal. I've had it for about 5 years now and I still like it. I'm kinda the goofy plain jane type so I think it helps me stand out a little. So far most of the guys I date have been more the straight laced type and I have had a couple guys say things like "WHY did you get a tattoo?" and those same guys are "willing to overlook it since it's feminine as long as you don't get any more" I've also dated a few hardcore types that like my tattoo but seem pretty disappointed that I only have one and that makes me slightly less attractive to them. But since I got it for me and I dig it and think it looks cool then I'm not uber worried what other people think about it EXCEPT as it pertains to my marketability in the workplace. THAT is a big concern for me because I know some employers are still very old school in regard to tattoos being "trashy" or "skanky" and I don't want to limit my options career wise.
As far as guys go- it all depends on the guy and the quality of the tattoos. In general guys with sleeves are hot, but only if they are done artistically by someone who knows what they are doing(NOT a friend of a friend with a homemade tattoo gun) If a guy has an armband or anything tribal it is super skanky to me personally. Oh and if a guy looks like he just got tattoos placedany damn where arbitrarily on his body it usually makes him look irresponsible and it makes me question how he's going to ever be able to get a job good enough to provide for a family. Obviously face tattoos are always a no as well.
Ultimately everyone should go with what works for them and the world is a big enough place that you should be able to find someone of your preferred gender that will find that sexy.
Well I have three tattoos ( all can be hidden with normal clothing) and I have received several compliments from guys. I think if they are tasteful and you can still dress up without them being seen then it's ok. It's almost like they are a hidden secret only "special" people get to see. As for guys. I LOVE tattoos, but not too many because then it's tacky. I especially like the armband tattoo if they have the right arm for it. I know it's cliche but I like it
Well. I really don't care one way or the other. I don't really like it when guys have tats that cover their entire body, I think that's gross, but one or two tats could be kinda cute.
I have a middle upper back tattoo across my shoulder blades in all black its stars and moons but not traditional and it isn't teenybopper ish or...
