So a guy asked me for my number, I gave it to him and a few minutes after we departed he texted me saying, "hey its ____ this is my number :)" I just simply texted back "k :)"

My question is, I have a feeling he thinks I'm not into him when I am. I'm just not so good at showing it. When he asked if I'd like to hangout I just got nervous & said yeah I guess that's cool. He kinda gave me a look and said that doesn't sound too good, but I didn't mean it like that... So my question is...HOW DO I GET OUT OF BEING SO NERVOUS? I know if the time comes if he were to ask me if he could take me out I'd probably come up with something to get out of it because I know I'd come across as boring because I'm too shy. AH. He's a great guy..help? :o

Just text him already. It's obvious he's at least interested in getting to know you better. You're sabotaging yourself by giving him mixed signals due to your shyness. While I totally understand a person being shy, at some point you're just going to have to just bite the bullet and put yourself out there.

You should text him more often. :) I'm just like you 4yrs ago. I also had a crush on this guy(my boyfriend now) but I'm too shy to talk to him. But I ovecome my fears and I was the furst to make a move. What you should do is text him always and get to know him better.
