Do guys like it when girls touch them?

It doesn't have to be serious touching, just like putting her arm around his lower back or touching his hand a little, or long, nice hugs? This particular guy is shy, so I'm not exactly sure if he doesn't like it, or if he just doesn't know how to reciprocate his feelings? (assuming there is chemistry between the two) Guys, what do you think, do you like that?

Yes we do it shows us that your interested and if we don't know you that well, you broke the touch barrier first which is a good thing, means that your interested and you like to touch the guy, so now you won't be surprised if he touches you. Most of the time the girl will laugh and a stupid joke you said or you tease her and she says stop your being mean or whatever and they playfully hit you arm, she touched you seems interested make your move get her number, its when you don't touch is when we think your not interested, you come off as cold.

I totally agree! If he likes you, he will eventually warm up to you. If he likes you, he may be taking his time with you - saving the touching for future intimate times with you. But, if he hasn't pulled away or made excuses to get out of you touching him or stayed away from you, I'm sure he likes it. He may be looking for other ways to show you instead because of not feeling comfortable touching you yet.

Yes guys do like girls touching them(even shy guys) just like girls like a guy touch them teasing them. Its a turn on for guys. Even unattractive girl can touch a guy, it might not be a turn on but it doesn't mean a turn off or hate, unless of course the guy hate the girl from the start already. Definitely a turn on if there's chemistry already.

I agree that it eases the tension. A guy may not want to appear too aggressive and this takes away some of the guess work. But that only applies if you're not that touchy with everyone as a rule.
