I started going out with this girl when I went to college, we weren't in the same class but we saw each other a lot and things went really well. We were together for 18 months but I started to not feel right, we never had enough money to do anything, she would start the same conversations over and we lived 50 miles apart and I was the only one who could drive. I used to be a jealous boyfriend but I changed for her and let her go out clubbing with her friends. We went through a stage of not talking much and she started to think I hated her so she deliberately went out and cheated on me and later picked a fight and tried to blame me.
Shortly after she broke down and begged me to take her back, everyone tells me I shouldn't and We've been on a break for a couple of months, but she still loves me and texts me all the time, she's desperate for me to come back and breaks down in tears when she thinks of it. I never had many friends and the ones I have I never get to see anyway but they all say the same thing "Go out and meet people" easy to say but when you're alone its not so easy, especially as money is tight.
With my friends, I'm the one who has to start the conversation every time and my best friend is more interested in me buying the tickets to a show we go to every year and backs out if I mention him buying for a change (He earns more than me), the rest I see at college but they're so far away and I hate my job. I'm just so lonely at the moment I feel I need her too. She's the only one there and I'm still attracted... though I do struggle to stomach what she did to me.
Am I right to take her back?
