Leave a friend at a bar, is this a bad friend?

Is it just me or is this something that would put someone in the bad friend category?

Three girls go out to the bars together. At some point during the night, they all end up very drunk. Then, two of them end up leaving the other girl at the bar so they can each go home with a random guy, even though their friend is very drunk. They don't even seem to care to make sure she makes it home OK. If your friends did this to you, what would you do? How would you feel?

When I went out with my friends to the bars, we NEVER left each other. There was always a DD and we looked after each other. Granted, we all got very sh*t-faced but we still looked for each other, checked on the others and left together. I would have never forgiven myself if something happened to one of my friends because I wasn't there for her. I have had friends leave with guys and not remember how they got there, how they got home, what happened during the evening and even woke up some place random on campus!

If my friends did this to me then I'd be pissed and I'd be done. I don't consider people like that to be my friends at all.

Wouldn't happen, one of our fiends always chooses to remain sober and look after the rest of the group. To leave a drunk friend alone at the bar is really dangerous, and uncaring. I would forgive them but I would be very annoyed about it, not that I've ever been drunk off my head before.

They don't sound very good friends. If they were going off to have drunken sex, the least they could do is give the other girl a ride home or at the very least put her in a cab

I would be dissapointed in them. I would be upset. I have never let myself get drunk like that because I would not want something like that to happen to me. If I went out with them again I wouldn't get drunk like that. Also, I might just not hangout with them as much in a bar setting. I would tell them that what they did was messed up and I would observe their behavior to see if they continue it. If they do then I would just kinda spend less time with them.

A holes. That is so not cool. If they care more about they're drunken sex life than the life of their friend, then they are not real friends.
