Guys: Will you read a letter given from your ex girlfriend?

I am thinking of sending my ex boyfriend a letter... telling him about my feelings... what he meant to me and how much he hurted me... and tht I hope he is happy... but I don't want to make him think I want him back and I don't want to seem desperate... but I want him to knw this... the thing is whenever I went to go say something I would never be able to completely tell him wht was in my heart... and some how he always turned the tables in a way tht he didn't do any thing wrong... as if he didn't use me and play with my feelings... I am not so good in putting my feelings into words... and I am not sure if he will read it...

What I want to knw from you guys is...

If your ex girlfriend writes a letter to you... explaining how she feels abt you and the things I mentioned above... would you actually take the time to read it...

And like I mentioned what can I say... I am not so good with words... well this is wht really happen... we were friend for more then 3 years... he had liked me before he he started to go out with his current girlfriend and he had just broke up with his (now current) girlfriend and tht is when I came out with my feelings for him but he used me as a rebound girl... he had been aware of my feelings before I told him my feelings... he convinced me tht he was over her and was only mines... while behind my back he was getting back with his girl... and then when his girlfriend came back... he broke up with me and went to her... and he caused me so much pain... because I really fell deeply in love with him... and he used me... and deeply hurted me... but like I said I am not so good with expressing my feelings so that is how he always made it seem like he didn't do anything wrong... I just want to say something tht makes him realize the pain he caused me or at least make him come and tell me tht he did use me because he always made me seem as if I took him wrong...

Tht is wht I dun knw if he cares or not... @ sum point it seems as he cares... he gone a trip and b4 he went I tld him 2 meet me... he told me he'll call and tell me whn 2 meet but he never did... (cont..)

(Cont..)he had 2 pick up his cuzin after tht so he had 2 leave @ 4:50... but his cuzin was running late and @ exactly 4:50 he started the car and dropped me home..

Where to start?

If the only point to your letter is to inform him of how much he hurt you then just skip it. He's not likely to read anything from you if it comes across as emotional bashing and illiterate finger pointing. Try re-reading ANY of your posts and you'll see that you're losing your literary grip on the situation.

Trade positions if you wish to write him anyways and ask yourself why would you (he) keep reading if the writer only spews venom. He'll get to paragraph 2 and throw the letter away.

And you would too if someone wrote you a note like you've proposed sending him.

On a contrary point, why do you want to do this anyways? You're not likely to get Rebound Boy back and by telling him that he hurt you he's not likely to think any better of you. And hurted isn't a real word nor a real emotion.

I really wish you the best but you would be better served finding a human who prefers you over someone else.

I would probably read a letter an ex sent to me. A letter is a good way to say what you think, but to not make the other person feel pressured. They can read it in their own time, and chose if they want to reply.

What do you hope the letter will accomplish? simply express your feelings to him?

write it... call him every name in the book, let him know how you really feel... then throw it away, or stash it somewhere on your hard drive. this way, you get your feelings out and they aren't docking in the back of your mind, popping up every once in a while. you get it out, he doesn't have to hear (ahem, read...) your rant and every one is happy! I do this a lot, and I always feel mucho better afterwards.

well I've done it before and I've actually felt so much better by doing it... it kind of just relieves you in a way... like for me it was easier for me to move on knowing that I told him how I felt about what he did. and even if he doesn't read the letter at least you tried to show him how you felt

I never really understood the concept of writing letters to "someone you once knew".

I guess it IS better than sending e text message or an email.

But isn't the most effective way to talk to them in person?

if the guy used to like you for real he will take the time then he will come talk to you in quite way

and he won't say I am right ur wrong he will just talk

if the guy was just playing with you or wasting time he will take the letter and throw it in trash or show it to his friends
