Why am I obsessed with husband's ex?

I'm so obsessed with my boyfriend ex girlfriend I constantly check up on her on fb and wanna know what she's all about... But why? He dated her in high school but never really cared about her they got in a bad wreck when they started dating and she could have almost died he says that's why he stayed with her so long, other people told me that's why he did too, they only dated one 1/2 years and we've been together for going on 3 years now , she not in the picture they never even speak so why am I so obsessed?!

cause you love him a lot I think that's why your jeaolous of him or you don't trust him you think that he can always go behind your back and maybe get a contact with his ex..firstly you should question your self and find out why your obsessed with her and maybe its good to talk about it together with your boyfriend maybe then he will make you feel more comfortable

i have no idea , have you though about deleting her from your Facebook or blocking her account so you cannot view it anymore ? that might be a way for you to stop looking at it .

really doubt she's still interested in him by now , sounds like she has long moved on

I've tried blocking her then I unblock her lol o and she's married now, and every time I pass her in town she stares me down why is that ?

maybe cause your like Facebook stalking her , I'd try blocking her again , not sure what other options are available

You sound insecure, perhaps you are a jealous woman. have you had issues like this in the past?

Has he given you reasons to not trust him before? Maybe you have been cheated on before, IDK. But if you do not get it under control, you will lose him for sure. If you are obsessed, you should seek therapy.

He's never cheated , he's great! I've been cheated on in past relationships tho! I've never been like this ever! So I don't know why I am now!?! :( she's not even that attractive and she is a complete BItch everyone says that so I don't know why I worry

It's probably the fact that you've been cheated on. He's paying for the sins of the guilty. This has been my problem, I'll admit, and it has cost me a really good man. Seriously, go talk to a good therapist. Seek out a couples/marriage therapist, you should be able to do brief therapy. You don't need to go as a couple, you can go alone. They can help you with trust issues. Do it asap to rid yourself of this before you damage your relationship beyond repair. Good luck.
