My ex boyfriend looks like he let himself go and I feel sort of sorry?

So I haven't had many relationships, what I feel though is that he has let himself go, physically. he often looks at me and catches my gaze and I'm a bit mesmerized since he has these bright blue eyes. and I remember my feelings for him. I'm really guilty of thinking of my feelings since I'm dating another guy , and he's really serious about me so far.

I'm in the middle of quitting a job so I can be away from my ex boyfriend. my current boyfriend is in favor of this but recently I guess my ex boyfriend caught wind of the news I'm leaving, he appears to go by and look at me often or steal peaks I guess. glance over at me.I have no idea what his intentions are or what he thinks. he has always been the hesitant type, a bit weak emotionally I think. and now seeing him letting go of himself, I feel like sorry for him and I'm not sure why.

I'm scared my current boyfriend is rebound but I would and never have talked to my ex boyfriend. does it sound like I have feelings for my ex? yes or no? and please say why as well, what logic you have for your answer. over all I'm an observant person so more than often I've seen my ex bf.

I think you are experiencing sympathy for your ex because you did have personal, maybe even intimate feelings for him.

And possibly you feel guilty about how the break up went? You're thinking your actions caused him to break away from his usual life pattern?

Well, even if that was the case, if the relationship was not healthy then you still made the right decision.

No matter what happens to him, no matter what happens to you. If it wasn't meant to be, then that is all there is.

It sounds like you care about him as a person, but I don't think you are in love with him. Because you're not like crushing on him, you're just feeling sorry for him basically.

So I would say, just let it go, and try things out with your new boyfriend.

yes because he is on your mind and you think about him. If you feel that it's not over between you two, then go back and talk to him because you can't have healthy relationship with your current guy if your still thinking and missing our ex.
