Press Release - 09/16/2008

< Back to About Us

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) September 16, 2008 -- GirlsAskGuys, leading relationship advice site, launched a new Xper Point System to award points to participating members. The new system calculates scores based upon participation and rewards members with prizes including Amazon Gift Certificates, iTunes Gift Cards and GirlsAskGuys apparel.

There are ten Xper levels. Members start at level one when signing up and earn their way to level ten, an "expert level," according to the website. To reach level ten, members must have over 10,000 Xper points. Xper points are calculated nightly and posted the following day.

Xper points indicate how much a member has participated on the website. The top ten members have answered more than 500 questions from other members earning them $25 in valuable prizes and a special place in the hearts of those seeking answers and advice.

Members earn points for nearly everything they do on GirlsAskGuys. With the new point system, members can earn Xper points by updating profile information, asking questions, answering questions and writing stories.

To ensure points are awarded fairly, members can also lose points. For questions or answers removed due to violation of GirlsAskGuys guidelines, points are deducted.

After earning a certain number of Xper points, members can redeem them for rewards. For the least amount of points, members can have their question featured on the website. Featured questions attract more attention and usually receive more answers. The next prize is a $10 iTunes Gift Card, followed by a GirlsAskGuys T-shirt. The largest reward available is a $20 Amazon Gift Certificate. There are no shipping and handling fees on rewards shipped in the United States.

Members are given rewards just for doing what they already enjoy doing. It's a great incentive to participate more and help out the other members of the community," said Tolga Tanriseven, founder of GirlsAskGuys. Learn more about the Xper Point System
