What is Reality Check?

Reality Check is a feature of GirlsAskGuys where users can create profiles under various themes (for example "Would you date me?") by answering a number of questions and uploading a related picture. The user will then be rated and given comments on their profile by other GirlsAskGuys members and non-members. A number of themes are available, some specific to guys, some specific to girls, and some for both genders. In addition, new themes will be added in the future.

How do I Create a Reality Check?

Simply sign in to your account and click on the Reality Check tab where you will see the available themes, click on the Create button to get started. Create a profile now

You can create a profile for each theme and more will be added in the future

Select the theme for which you want to create your profile, answer the questions and add your picture and you are all set! Once your profile has been created, it will be available to receive ratings.

You can see your rating at the Reality Check section of your profile.

Profiles cannot be edited, so be sure to review your profile before you submit it. You can however remove and create a new one any time you want. (Just know that your ratings and the comments you received will be lost). Alternatively, you can pause your profile to keep it but remove it from further ratings - and then unpause it later if you choose to.

How do I rate others?

Simple click on the Reality Check button placed at the top of all pages on the website and select a theme to rate. Current profiles will be displayed randomly and you will have a chance to rate (from 1-10) and comment on each and every profile. And yes, writing comments will earn you points, too. In order to see the next profile, just rate the current one.

Once the ratings are in, the system will calculate the average every 2-3 hours. Your comments will be available immediately.
