His proposal

So, my husband is in the Army. When he left for Basic two years ago, we decided to get married, but never really did. So, we just started calling each other fiance and started planning the wedding (well I did most of the planning since he was on the other end of the country doing BCT and AIT). He graduated AIT and came home a week before the wedding. Things were hectic and crazy all the way around. The day before the wedding, we finally went and got our rings. We stopped at his parents house that evening because his sister was helping me put a few last minute things together. I had gotten an engagement/wedding set and hadn't even thought to put the engagement ring on yet. Out of nowhere, my husband comes up, gets on one knee and says "You deserve an official proposal". I was just kinda stunned, and all I could think to say was "The day before we get married?" :D He laughed and slipped on the ring and the rest...well it's history ;)
