My brother was married to this thing that used to purchase cigarettes that had giveaways attached and then give the giveaways to everyone for Christmas gifts. She even gave the children towels or keychain flashlights that had the cigarette logo on them. Glad she found another sucker and is no longer in the family.

My ex boyfriend gave me a book on how to be a better mother... for Christmas. Ummm..yeah. My daughter is going to med school and his son hasn't heard from him in several years. Things that make you go hmmmmm

I received clothes from my boyfriend. They were nice clothes but were 2 sizes too small. He knew what size I wore so I think he was trying to give me a hint!

The worst gift I have ever received was when my bother gave me his cell phone. It was July and his birthday was coming up, so I decided to buy him a cell phone. On his birthday he did not like it one bit. He moaned and complained on how awful it was and that I should had bought him some XBox game to support his addiction. On my birthday he does not buy me anything for the third time in a row, so he decides to give me his cell phone. When I go to use it, its ALREADY registered. If he didn't like it, why'd he register it? So I add some of friends to the contact list and started to use it. There was one odd thing thou. Voice caller ID marked me down with his name, not mine. So the only way to change this was to go into his profile and edit the ID. When I went to change it, I needed a pin code and my brother said he didn't remember it. I phoned customer service after being on hold for over an hour TWICE and being told that a secret password is needed. Guess what, he didn't know the answer.

I received some pink plastic boots with a cartoon character on them, and they weren't even my size. I'm sure that this was an unwanted gift being passed along.

I once received some "scratch off lottery tickets" from my aunt in the mail for my bday. She mistakenly put tickets she had already scratched in the card she mailed to me. After realizing her mistake she sent my $20 cash.

The worst gift I ever received was a coupon for a $5 discount at a chicken restaurant for my birthday. I'm a vegetarian...

For Christmas, I received a large cardboard box full of oddly named cleaning supplies. When I did the research on them, it turned out that they were all from the dollar store. All 11 of them. The family spending limit was $100 per person. Best part? They could only be returned for dollar store credit, not the $11 in cash.

The worst gift that I received was from my current boyfriend. There was once that I lost my cellphone and because of this,he told that he's gonna give me another phone. We met that day and he gave his first ever cellphone which he bought long before we met. The catch, it isn't even working and he told me to bring it to a cellphone repair shop and when I did, the technician said that it can't be repaired anymore. Well, so much for a gift but I kept it with my things anyways and I bought a new one for myself.

On valentines day my date bought me a 5 cents monkey that has basically no material so its see threw.

Yes my past birthday my ex-boyfriend instead of giving me something nice decided to not get me anything and go hangout with his friends instead. Great guy right? Needless to say it was not a good birthday, and there's a reason why he's an "ex" boyfriend now.

I received a very unattractive statuette as a wedding gift. My husband and I joked that this would be the first thing to throw if we were ever to toss stuff in one of those fights you see in movies and tv.

On my 16 birthday my boyfriend Alex brought out small box that looked to be caring a ring or something. I opened up the card and read it out loud " Baby your my everything. I hope you like the gift. That pretty much topped the cake of worth gifts ever although it was a pretty close tie when later that night I opened my mom's gift of decorative toilet paper (aka toilet paper with designs on it).

A jacket that was wayyy to big had a broken zipper and kinda smelled wierd. gift from my bf, it was his fave jacket. we broke up cause he's bipolar and skitzafrenic. do the math lolz. he was wayyyy to needy and told all his friends I was prego with is baby. NOOOO I'm a virggin lolz

My boyf has no idea about women's fashion or sizes, for xmas one year he bought me a size uk 20 fleece (I'm a size uk 10), it was so horrible, and all because I moaned about not having a nice jacket to wear in the cold. Not quite what I had in mind!!

The worst gift ever it was this stuff bunny that this guy from the classroom next to me gave me before Christmas, he decide to spray half of the bottle of his cologne in the bunny and give it to me!! Despite the fact that I didn't like him and I made it really clear that he annoy me he still give me a gift!! Eventually I gave the bunny to my niece because I couldn't stand to see it or the smell of it lol

When I was a teen my mom was making me a dress. She never got it done in time for Christmas so when I opened the package all there was were cut out pieces of fabric for the dress. It was disappointing but she did eventually finish the dress for me. I do love my Mom despite this. :)

The worst gift I ever received was a stuffed dog from my ex-boy friend who got it from goodwill and it also gave me headlice!!!!!!!!!11

My boyfriend bought me a new scale and a calorie counter book. I asked him if he thought I was fat and he said of course not! I lost over 100 pounds that night when I decided we were not "meant to be"

Everyone knows I read a lot so the worst gift I ever received was a "bookmark" - a plain elastic thread with 3 plastic beads.

The "old fashioned" sun bonnet set was so wrong. The sunbonnet swallowed my head. The matching apron barely covered my hips. The set was brilliant purple with large checked ruffles. The style was bad enough, but the "Barney purple" color was awful!

The worst gift I could ever have gotten would have to be a plastic m&m candy heart on valintines day. I got my boyfriend a sighned jersey from his favorite football player two years ago and a cute little note a atached to it that read, "I love you boo!" he loved it. Then he came out with a small plastic candy heart with the m&m characters all over it. His excuse was that he did'nt know what I liked which I had told him a thousand times.

Well 2 weeks before my 19th birthday I had cheated on my boyfriend with some guy and my boyfriend found emails I was sending to the guy and on my 19th birthday my boyfriend Gave me the copies of the emails in a box with a big bow on top as a birthday present .

Alas! it was my 16th birthday....i got slammed over my window pane...still hv got a scar on my left cheecks....well I consider it as a gift even despite worst or best...because I believe..everything happens for a reason....my heart can't deny that and my mind don't tend to accept..! so I call it the worst gift ever......

As a christmas gift one year my boyfriend at the time gave me one of those Gilette Fusion razors samples that they mail out. And no he didn't give me the box, he gave me the stick and the razor which he had already used once. At least he had the decency to try and clean it out as best he could.

This guy I dated a few years ago took me out to lunch in chinatown in new york, and my birthday was in a couple of days so he decided he wanted to buy me a gift, he bought me a fish. Yes, a fish. One of those $3 ones that come in a little tub. Just the lunch alone would've been fine, but seriously what am I gonna do with a fish?!?!!!

The worst gift I received was a calculator for my 10th birthday, I mean c'mon , y do a 10 year old wants a calculator. the worst part is that you have to act surprised and happy.

O.k so one day on my birthday I got so sick (a bad bug) so I called my husband at work and explained I was sick and he needed to come home. So he wakes in the door with a box of saltine crackers with a red bow and said happy birthday!! Isn't that great I was totaly bumed out

Well the worst thing I got was "nothing" literally nothing for my birthday from my boyfriend of one year and we weren't even fighting that time! What an asshole! And when I asked him what he wants for his bday present this year he says he wants something expensive from me like a tv! WTF! AS IF!

An ex girlfriend of mine, back in grade 11 gave my a box of chocolates which she had hid in the glove compartment of her car. We'd gone for a nice drive with the windows down as it was a hot day and she told me to open the glove box for a surprise, yeah it was a surprise all right! brown melted chocolate oozed out as I opened the small door, and the worse thing was little maggots had started wiggling around in the brown goop. :(

For my birthday my so-to-be boyfriend got me a tiny box of Heros with were 90p and nothing for my christmas (3 months after we started going out)
so I dumped the sad f*** XD

For my birthday, my husband gave me a dishwasher so I could do his dishes, and he didn't even understand why I was upset.i mean really, w- t -f

For Christmas, cos my boyfriend sucks, I got some candle holder which he called a chalice for storing cum, a jar of mayo (oh very funny), and some weiners. yes, I repeat, that is what I got last christmas :/.
