I was a janitor at a public pool...i cleaned toilets&the 'presents' little kids left in the pool...everybody laughs at you because you have to clear the pool while cleaning out the 'gifts' and you have kids screaming at you the entire time because you're wasting their 'precious time' oh and I get paid at the end of summer...which means I don't get paid weekly so I have to ride my bike...no money means no gas. no gas means no car. no car means I'm on a bicycle. woo hoo.

So I work at chick-fil-a which is hard enough, but on top of all the things I already have to do, I was told to go clean the poop AND pee from the play pen. This little boy went diarrhea all the way down the slide and I got to clean it up because I was small. No joke. The WORST day EVER!

Well, I work at center valley animal rescue.. and my job is to clean the rooms. And there's this one room called the 'incontent' room. Which is basically cats who don't use the litter box. Yeah, I have to clean that room along with all the other rooms. EW(: lol.

My worst job was working at a hot, greasy summer refreshment stand. There were long lines at lunch and lots of boredom the rest of the time.

The worst job I had was at an ice cream shop. My boss was the bad part. He wanted us to clean the store on our hands and knees (I think because he enjoyed the view) and he only let us play Enya on the loud speakers. Yikes!

The worst job I ever had was at the clothing store goodys. I had to take the clothes that people tried on and put them back on the hangers and back on the racks. people made such a huge mess all day long I felt like a rat on a wheel.

The worst job I ever had was one college summer. I worked for a now-defunct discount store in a poor area. I had to call up all the people who were behind on payments for their store credit card and try to force them to pay. I went home in tears every day for a while, listening to these people's sob stories. I was so young that I didn't realize that they weren't all telling the truth, and I felt horrible for pressuring them for money.

Well I think the worst job I had was when I worked in a mobile customer care center.I had to do my job from evening 5pm to morning 6pm.we would have no time to have at least a short nap.And morning when I go home I had to maintain my house. So had no sleep at all. Oh its disguisting!
By gambo   Over a year ago
I would say that my job is the worst. I work at a drug and alcohol rehab center. I do the night shift. So while everyone else is asleep I am awake. With no on to talk to. And when everyone else is a wake I am asleep. O ya and don't forget my boss hates me and is doing this to me on for her own pleasure because I am better at her job than she is. And have more training than she does. She is scared. So I get the sh*tty job. YAY!!!!!

The worst job for me had to be when my aunt need some help at work and I needed the job so. Well anyway it was at a nursing home. I thought it would be nice playing board games with the old people and while getting paid. You could say I was a intern though in what I was getting paid! Anyway after a week I cut turns out my aunt wasn't just playing board games with them. She had to feed them clothe them bathe them change them basically their babysitter. It was the most disgusting thing every. I had to change diapers that had doodoo in it and it had the worst smell. The thing that brought me to my breaking bout was when Mr. Anderson from room 206 doo doo on my hands while I was bathing him and I didn't notice it until it rosed up in the bath water. I will never help my aunt out with work again.

I worked at build a bear for 6 months at Downtown Disney. Not only are parents terrible (the kids were a joy actually) but I was sick for all BUT 2 weeks. See, parents plan Disney trips months in advance and little Timmy gets sick. How do you cheer him up? Take him to Build a Bear and let him cough on me for an hour.

Bad news: 5.5 months of being sick.
Good news: When I left I had already had every type of every virus from every country. I did not get sick for about 2 years.

Insane parents, terrible pay, and constant sickness. Worst. Job. EVER!

I work with a Michael Scott clone. From the things he says to the "that's what she said" jokes to the completely racist and sexist innuendos, he's almost ruining me on The Office. What's even funnier is that he doesn't even know what the show is and has never seen it! The rest of us do all the work while he amplifies burps and other crude noises on a loudspeaker or makes annoying calls on his office phone to our phones. I am totally the Pam of our office!

I worked at a school over the summer a couple of years ago. The job lasted about 3 weeks. Anyway, the only thing I did was scraped gum. All day. From every room in the building. Off chairs, tables, the floor, the wall. I swear, I haven't chewed gum since my first day doing that.

United states army soldier. In Iraq we have to burn the fecal matter and guess who gets to do it. You fill a, cut in half 55 gallon drum with crap and add diesel fuel then you have to take a big stick and stir it till it all burns away. Did I mention you get shot at bombed and all the while you can't quit because it's against the law?

Slave, worst job EVER, o wait, it's called Care Provider for the elderly, I had a friend that did it, worked at an old folks home, they constantly need things, so by the end of the day, you're sore, your tired, you smell like bengay, you spend time changing diappers without the innocents of a cute child looking back at you to make it feel rewarding, and when you really build a connection to one or more of them, they end up passing on, it's constant heart ache and physically and emotionally draining.

I saw flyers that this company was paying $18 an hour! I went insane called, submitted an application, got called for an interview, I was so excited thinking about all the green I would be making, things were going so well, it was meant to be...when I got to the company, there were 50 other people sitting in a room with me waiting to be called. The CEO rich guy and his wife talked for hours about their company and how it all started out, everyone was focused and felt like this was once in a lifetime opportunity....we got called in one at a time to be interviewed and they told us to wait in the room again. Finally, 6 hours later, the CEO comes out to announce who is hired...and of course my name was called. I was happier than ever and thinking $18 smackaroos an hour baby! When I arrived on my first day, my job was to go door to door to people's houses and sell knives and kitchen tools. What the Fuck seriously? and the $18/hr is earned over commission after a year of working. FML! I quit

Having to ring up random people all over the country askin them if they wanted to to come to an exhibit to listen to something about spain, and then at the end of it they have a free holiday!! I had to convince them I was telling the truth when really I wasn't!! Also I had to convince them that it wasn't time share, which it was!!! The company wanted people to go to this exhibit to get people to buy a share in a cruise ship!!! RIP OFF!!! Then when the company had enough money to open the cruise ship it closed down, and no one has seen thier money or the cruise ship since!! let alone thier supposed free holiday!! YOU NEVER EVER GET ANY THING FOR FREE IN THIS LIFE, THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH SOMEWHERE!! x

Although I pretty much have the best job in the world right now, I had to work in a construction company back home in India before getting this job. Usually I was sent to other cities to work. My job basically was that of a laborer. My boss, "The Engineer", would command me, it wasn't just stuff related to construction, he at times would ask me to fetch tea. It was really annoying and there were no definite work timings, they cud wake me up anytime in the morning, and would make me work till anytime they liked, especially during times when they were behind deadline. There was a time when I worked full 24hrs. It was quite literally hell!!

It was the fall, I was 20 and worked at K-mart. The job was literally this one day; dress up in a stupid "Light Bulb" mascot outside in the blazing sun with a sign about our sales going on. I still can't believe I did it. Worst job EVER...

Last summer I worked as sign boy for a tatoo parlor. It required me to dance around in 100 degree weather for six hours in front of a eight lane highway. At the end of one day my feet are always bleeding and I'm always burning even with my tan.

Oh southwest boulder and stone. it was a building supply yard. people come and get rocks manure gravel you name it we had it. well we also had a pond and great display showing what a few rocks pumps and water could do. well that pond had fish and 3 massive tanks for holding all the debris and of course your all time favorite fish poop. my brother had gotten me the job a day before then they call on me to clean out all 3 of these 200 gal tanks full to the brim of lava rock fish poop pond scum and who knows what else. took me 3 days to clean each one out to the bottom of them using a bowl you would find in the kitchen because any bigger and it wouldn't fit in the hole at the top the lava rock would cut up my hands and they had no gloves for me so then the fish poop and pond scum got in and infected parts of my hand. took a month before my hand healed. oh not to mention my boss was an ex con and I am an aspiring police officer.. lets just say I got the "sh*tty" jobs all the time

Those Guys That Do All Those Sports States, like how far each player runs per-game, how many pases we successfully made. Honestly, imagine that that's your actual career...how could you possibly ever have a 'fun day' at work? or expect anyone to enjoy hearing about your day? 'Honey ull never guess what happened today, you know the NFP Dodgecats game I was telling you about yesterday? well, I was certain they completed 23 consecutive paces without droppin the ball but after repeatedly watch the game for 40minutes I came to the conclusion that it was actually 24!..can you believe that!! lol I felt like a proper fool, I swear I did!' That aside how can you expect your kids to look up to you lool I know I sound kind of harsh...but common, talk about unfulfilling jobs? I think ild have better job satisfaction calculating the speed at which it takes liquid paint to solidify on various surfaces.

My last job was the worst iv had to date. I was supposed to be a manager however I was the only manager who was made to do manaul labor alongside the crew I oversaw. the crew respected me for it however that did not take away the fact that every muscle in my body ached by the end of the day. I am 5'4 and 115 lbs, myself and 3 other ladies my size worked in a structuraly UNSOUND burnt garage with asbestos and we shoveled bagged and hauled 2.2 tons of debris each day for 3 days straight. 2.2 tons per day mind u. as a manager I started at 730 am and ended my day at 6pm then there was the 90 minute commute to go 22 miles to home (god love bay area Ca. traffic) each week was another job similar to the one I just described. I had no desk, no computer, no training and they had me use my personal car to drive myself and the crew to the job sites. then I was fired because they felt I felt it was about me not about the company? WTF. I never complained mind u, only to my family after work

I used to work picking up the elephant poo at the zoo. It was literally the worst job ever. The smell was the worst. I used to come home with the stench of poo on me. My boyfriend Oscar refused to kiss me because I smelt so bad. The wage was VERY minimum but I needed the money and in this economy there's not a lot of options. Even now my new job is pretty bad being a court-process clerk, but nothing compares to picking up the poo of a 9000 lb animal.

Working in a vegetable shop... The work is easy, and the hours are tolerable despite having to work on a saturday. I got less than minimum wage for it, and no matter if you do a job correctly the boss would tell you it's wrong, if you did it the way he asked you to, he would tell you he does it a different way, so I have to do everything and consider what mood he is in for which options. It's a lot of heavy lifting in the morning and evening which you get no help with whatsoever... It's hard to describe, but it's a see it to believe kind of thing. Oh and at Christmas, my hours go up.. Starting at 5am until 9pm (can actually go on longer depending on orders) and if it doesn't seem that tough, Consider moving several tons of potatoes out of a truck in under an hour then bagging them. Then several other trucks come and go with other vegetables, memorably melons which had to be carried up a flight of stairs in groups weighing 60kg each, not much but a day of it kills.

The worst job EVER is when your being forced to work for no money in a depression. That's the worst possible job, you are being forced to be doing someone elses dirty work with no benefit to yourself. It's not voluntary work if its forced upon you .You gotta be there at 7:30 and leave at 3:50. On top of that you have to deal with people you don't like, and then bring the work home with you and do it then. Forget about gooing on a vacation because if your doing work then it really ain't a vacation at all. ughhh. Then they have these stupid unnecessary rules you have to follow and superiors who can't even do their own job. Then if you try and contradict or fix a wrong your superior says then your beinng disrespectful. You have to work five days a week, I mean yea you get vacation time but is it really worth it. No it isn't. Then sometimes they make you payyyy to work there when they ain't even paying you. Dang thee ABSOLUTE WORST JOB EVER is a student

The worst job I ever had would have to be when I had to babysit for a woman and her husband. The woman and husband were going to the club to get drunk and party and asked me to babysit there two kids, a girl who loved to stay in her room and read, play with there many animals, and not listen to a single word you have to say and a little boy who loved throwing rocks and screaming at the top of his lungs. I had to stay with these kids for 4 hours. When I tried to feed them the little girl insisted that she wasn't hungry. She had to eat because her mom said that all she had all day was a nutty buddy bar. When I tried to reason with he she slamed the door in my face before telling me that I "Was not her boss." Then after I fed them I tried putting the little boy to be. I would out him to be and evey 5 min. (NO LIE) he was out of bed asking for water. I finally got frustrated and sent him to bed with a sippy cup. When there mom came home she paid me 35$. I felt like I deserved 100$!

The worst job ever is to clean the lavatory on an airplane..big jet! You never know what you are going to find and how many people have missed due to "rough air". It's disgusting!

My worst job ever..
You take a big bag put a large plastic bucket with the bottom cut out into the bag so it stands up right. Then you take another large plastic bucket (bottom intact) walk up to the 3meter high mountain of organic steaming animal sh*t, shove the bucket into the mountain a few times to fill it take it back to the bag and tip it in. repeat process for 10-12 times till bag is full. Then with your large industrial sized needle and twine you sew the top of the bag closed....
You get paid $1 per bag each bag takes about 15min.
The best part is that the bacteria in the animal manure seeps into your skin causing tiny infections leading the a face covered in what looks like acne. YAY just what every 16yrold girl wants!

The worst job I have ever had is the one of the ones I currently work at. First off, it is possibly the most boring job anyone could ever have. You serve food to old people at a nursing(sounds easy, and yes it is but the people in that building bitch). The people I work with bitch and bitch and bitch about every little thing. Especially my managers. I was vacuuming one night and did the entire floor for about an hour, even got on my hands and knees. Well my boss comes out to inspect the job and I literally missed a cracker wrapper and got yelled at for 15 minutes about how I am sloppy and lazy. All the servers get yelled at for every little thing even when its not OUR job AT ALL like the food, if the food is poorly made we get yelled at by EVERYONE when all we do is simply say "we will be sure to tell the chefs ma'am/sir" then it turns into well shouldn't you no before hand! Our managers are also not caring about our residents at all, when its their job to meet their needs!

The worst job I have ever had to do was work on my moms friends farm. We spend hours trying to unattach the weeds from the strawberries. There were spiders every where all over my shoes , they kept crawling up my arms and the worst part was I wouldn't notice them until they were half way up my body. I thought things couldn't get worse , but it was extremely hot I was sweating buckets and buckets of sweat and that was only in the 1st hour. We were out there from 8am to 2pm and my hands were sore from tugging at the weeds. Not to mention that the weeds were talk long and stuck deep down in the ground. Our job was to pull the weeds from the root and than put them in a pile. The strawberry feild was huge just looking at it made me want to cry. I'm far from lazy but wow that was enough work for over a thousand people.Just when I thought we were done we had to put all the weeds that we had put in a pile in a trashcan. We had to pick it up and carry it all the way to the trash can ugh.

Plastic bag factory.

8 hour shift. Production line. Hot factory. Stamping lables onto bags using a huge machine. Lift up, press down, stamp. Lift, down, stamp. Lift, down, stamp, shoot brains out onto bags.

I only did three shifts before I quit. But it was enough to scare me into getting a college education :D
