What a Horrible post. You should only date someone if your attracted to them. If you mesh with them in a way that will make your life happier and more fulfilled. You don't date someone that you are not attracted to just to "open yourself to new things". That is the worst possible reason to date anyone. I am attracted to white women. I don't have anything against others, I just don't find them sexually appealing. There is no way I would ever date them. honestly this take is wrong on so many levels it is just sad.

Obviously I did NOT mean people should only date other races and exclude their own. That's not the message I was trying to portray. I should have picked a different title cause it seems to be the only thing a lot of people are focused on.
My boyfriend is Lebanese, I am Australian, and I can agree with all your points. Especially the first one. What's more is that I'm gradually picking up Arabic! Yay!
Learning about another religion does nothing if it proves to be a false one. Except let you know why those under it are broken in the ways they are.
Learning another culture can be useful, but don't ever let them step on or disrespect yours. That's what I always hated about "multicultural" classes and events: I have to respect theirs, when I don't know it, when they're on my turf, but they can knowingly disrespect mine and disrespect me with impunity. That's wrong.
Culture schmulture. If she has an acceptable personality, I can work with her. If she's a bitch, she's a bitch. Period. If he's a prick, don't tell me that "another culture" justifies it when that behavior is considered universally prickish.
As for this "it's the 21st century" rhetoric: Right and wrong don't change, just because of a damn calendar.
@9mfeo That isn't what I said. What I said is that when someone who is "other" wrongs me, it's just as wrong as when someone who's "similar" does it. It irritates me that I can be hurt by someone who is "other," and there is no recourse because someone will always try to tell me that the otherness gives them carte blanche. So no matter how I got hurt or how much, I'm treated like the villain if I express that I'm hurt.
That's why I left the one campus ministry center on MSU's campus in 2006. If I'm stood up or lied to and the gal is foreign, it's automagically a "cultural" thing that I "need to understand." But no understanding of me is required on her end. If she's domestic, then I'm "too forward and pushy" for expecting her to keep her promises. Not upholding her end of the bargain to show up somewhere is wrong. Making me out to be the "bad guy" because I upheld my end and did show up, however, is flat-out disgusting.
@9mfeo Let me put it another way: I don't mind that they're a different color. But when they abuse me, I can't stand it when others who look the same as me go out of their way to make excuses for them, and act like it's "okay" that they abuse me, simply because they're "different." Abuse is wrong, period.
@ObscuredBeyond "Let me put it another way: I don't mind that they're a different color. I can understand that. You shouldn't have to take being mistreated by anyone of any race.
It's just a strong belief of mine that you should stick with your own race. I know it's a sensitive subject, but here goes. I'm an American white male and I find it incredibly difficult to understand why American women want to be with Hispanic men. Pretty gorgeous white women too, and it's really not fair.. you say none of my business, ok. Stuff like that shouldn't happen, really disheartening when you try your best to show interest in a girl and they won't even consider you
I just feel it's taking away from us American mens selection, some of us I'm sure still want that family with the wife and kids, it's so much simpler to just be somebody you can relate too vs injecting drama
And what about the white men going after the Hispanic women? Doesn't that just show a white women she should try the same. I'm mixed, my dad white, my mom is from Puerto Rico. If your hot your hot race doesn't matter, same with attitudes. I look whitish but the reality is, what is white exactly? Get down to the nitty gritty I'm half Irish. How many pure bread Europeans have been born in the U. S anyways.
I respect your opinion. Though as a black guy I would never date a white girl, if boring, plain Jane, with no feminine curves is your thing then go ahead I guess. Their so similar to the body of like a 10 year old boy, blah their just so plain and meh and unattractive and do nothing for me visually at all. Why would I ever go for one when I have black women who have it all, nice tits, big booties, killer bodies, full lips, even complexion without the need for caked on make up, and they age 100x better and aren't old and washed up by their late 20's. No thanks. The furthest I might try is a latina girl, if they have a lot of black DNA in them, even then it's hard for them to compete
Am black dated a girl from peru But sadly things didn't work out since she lets her parents make all her choices for her. Her Parents decied to forced us apart she creid for weeks but accpeted it and blamed me for what happened. So tbh i really didn't learn anything That many good things from her... the bad out weighs the good. But i say i learned 4 good things from dating her 1. Never make your life all about your girlfriend 2. Never put your girlfriend needs before yours=give up joining the marines for her.. because thats what she wanted it was my dream But she become my new dream 3. Always be yourself and stand up for what you belive in 4. If you done all you can too get along with someone= her parents and all they do is juegue you then too bad for them. Am dating her would i like too earn their respected? yes But won't change who i am for anyone agin.
It would be a disaster if they clash culturally. I understand why most would date only their own. Cultural differences can be a sensitive area to broach because it is in with their physical , ancestral heritage and emotional identity. Its a huge slap to their long term ego!
I mean, like, that's probably only really relevant if one is a fourth or fifth generation American and the other is a newly landed immigrant. If you're both from the same country and have similar immigration times, your cultural identity is going to be pretty much the same.
Well yeah all of these things are nice but at the end of the day I will date whoever I fall for, regardless of his race. I'm not going to pick a guy on purpose just because he isn't white. If I fall for him, good, if I don't, whatever. You SHOULD only date people you've fallen for. You SHOULDN'T date someone of another race just because they're of another race.
You get all these benefits just by befriending people of other races too, a relationship is not a must.

I should have titled it differently, everyone seems to be up in arms about the title even tho I stated no one should exclude people of their own race.
I think it's great when people date others outside of their race. I'm white and have dated 2 black men. I didn't date them just because of their race of course but it broadened my horizons and let me experience a different culture.

I'm dating a guy who is half-Caucasian half Indian. Sure, he does look Indian, and at first my mom was taken aback by it. But looks don't matter (unless you're talking about the hygiene part of it, that's an different story) because they will fade with time. I think in my personal option that he's very handsome. He's very sweet, polite, kind, hilarious, and smart. He's everything I've ever wanted in an guy but haven't known. If I had just stocked to the stereotypes and dated another Caucasian, I wouldn't found such a wonderful guy.
I'm all for it but it shouldn't be "why you SHOULD" One might choose to date interacially just because they like the person who happens to be another race, not because they want to learn about another culture or keep up with the times, that's dumb.
While you are right, in actual application (at least for me) dating outside of my race opened my eyes to a lot more women that I really never considered before. Of course, I did grow up pretty sheltered.
Great take. Personally outside of White girls I'm also interested in Latino, Asian and most recently Persian girls. However Black girls are just not my type. Never found them attractive even when they have the same body type of an attractive White girl.
I used to not be attracted to black girls. Then there were a couple that caught my eye and I dated them. Now, I find myself very attracted. May not happen the same for everyone, but that is what happend for me, and I'm glad it did. You're missing out.
As a Black girl I do not care that you do not find me attractive. I don't know why men think we Black girls care when they don't find us attractive. I'm sure lots of Black girls doesn't find you attractive either. It's a two way street. You think putting it out in the open will make Black girls feel sad and be affected by it, news flash! only insecure girls care. And me telling you this does NOT mean I am feeling insecure because some white guy or whatever you are doesn't find me attractive, It's me letting you know "I. d. c" like how you had the nerve to put you thoughts here for everyone to see :)
@CapricornSwagL Great? This is the internet where everyone gets to share their opinions. I shared mine. I don't expect Black girls to be attracted to me, heck I hope they aren't much as I do with gays since it makes it easier if both sides don't find the other attractive. I have a certain preference and I'm sure you do too. There's no need to get your panties in a bunch just because some guy on the internet doesn't like Black girls.
@the_champ I just stated how I feel about black women. I did not say they are unattractive, just that I do not find them attractive. Enough with the white knight crap.
@the_champ Are you one of those people that says "everybody is attractive"? Seriously everyone has a right to their own opinion. I stated mine. Don't like it than gtfo.
"Great take. Personally outside of White girls I'm also interested in Latino, Asian and most recently Persian girls. However Black girls are just not my type. Never found them attractive even when they have the same body type of an attractive White girl."
@QuestionMan thanks. Maybe it's the dark skin you're not attracted to? Hmm...
@CapricornSwagL I'm black too and your comment was slightly aggressive lol it's just his opinion and I don't think his objective was to put black girls down. As long as we love ourselves that's all that matters right? Anyways I like your name :)
I dont have preferences like you (not liking an entire race because I KNOW there's beauty in every race). I like guys that aren't judgmental (thats the first step to me liking me gay). A person can be the hottest thing walking but if they're judgmental, I wouldn't even twice about them. And my panties aren't in a bunch. I was just letting you know, we strong ones dont care.
@the_champ Omg thank you. A person with sense. I see people bashing Black girls all the time. Dont find us attractive thats fine but putting it here is just ridiculous and mean. What if some insecure black girl saw it? She'll be crying
@CapricornSwagL By writing such a long response, you unwittingly proved that you *do* care. If you didn't, you wouldn't have responded to his opinion at all. Sorry, but you kind of outed yourself on this one lol.
@HikerDude LMAO please dude, you and him wish I cared. I wrote a long response because people like y'all think black girls will cry about you not finding us attractive. I was letting him know not all black girls give af. You people want us to hate ourselves lol but too bad I love myself. BECAUSE I LOVE myself I have too much pride and WILLlet some dude know I dont care if he thinks I am ugly
@CapricornSwagL LOL you're doing it again, trying to prove how much you don't care by investing time and energy into proving to us that you don't care. What's funny is that you don't even realize that you're doing it, but you'll figure it out eventually.
@HikerDude My point exactly @asiag299 You get it. Love yourself and there will always be others that do. @@CapricornSwagL Great you like people of all races. Not everyone does. Why the butthurt? If you didn't care the most you would do is press that dislike button. By responding you are saying that it hurts you that there are people that don't like black girls. There are people that don't like Asian guys, or White girls so what everyone has a preference.
@QuestionMan Ok my tone might seem hostile but it wasn't. Yes I was a bit annoyed but that was because people are always trying to put black girls down, not because you was stating not finding me attractive. I am saying "me" because my statement was based off me. I care about the others of course but I was just speaking for myself
@CapricornSwagL Like I said before. Just because I'm not into Black girls doesn't mean other guys aren't. There are plenty of guys out there that like Black girls. Me not going for one is just less competition for these guys. Just look at the dislikes. 6 guys like Black girls. I'm sure there's plenty more.
I know guys like Black girls. My ex was white and plenty of white guys admit I am attractive (to them) but wouldn't date me which was fine, I just found it funny. But this isn't about white (I dont care if white guys dont like me) Im just saying because some of the comments on GAG says so (others gagers comments)
Tf no lol. I was simply explaining some things to you in case you believed that. It wasn't my intentions. My intentions was to let you know I didn't care but other things came out as i typed
@CapricornSwagL The way you typed just seemed aggressive. Even now with the all caps it seems kind of aggressive. I'm sure you don't mean to come off that way but it did seem a little mean. Anyways I don't think his comment was meant to hurt anyone although it might seem rude I personally don't find white guys attractive and I'm not ashamed to say so as I'm sure quite a few don't find me attractive either which is perfectly fine. I will say that I'm glad that you had the best intentions in mind as an insecure black girl probably could've been hurt by his statement. Maybe the way you typed it or the mood you were in made it come off as rude. Although I have to say finding an insecure black girl in my area is rare lol everyone thinks their the bees knees over here. If they are insecure they mask it very well :)
@asiag299 I put cap locks because you didn't seem to UNDERSTAND so I thought maybe if I made the words bigger you'll comprehend it :). I didn't mean it in a aggressive way though. How was it mean lol. I was letting a guy know that didn't find me attractive I didn't care, amongst other thing. Not my fault you thought I was being mean and aggressive. YOU dont see it as offensive, I do (not hurt or sad but abusive). I defended myself and those black women that are hurt by these things. I am definitely NOT insecure. I love myself and my dark skin
@CapricornSwagL I'm black too lol I guess this just didn't bother me that much because it was his preference out of millions of other men in the world. I don't think insecure black girls should take offense to his comment if they see it and no i don't mean you lol I just think even if you were insecure you'd recognize a douche when you see one (no offense dude (opinion owner) but it was kind of wrong but I won't fault you for stating your opinion) Besides I love my black skin and I wasn't calling you insecure in my comment so I'm sorry if it came off that way. Also the caps lock didn't make me understand as I already understood your comment it just came off as antagonizing. I just feel that with a better stated paragraph you could get your point across better. :) That's all I understand your point of view and I can agree with what you're saying but I can't say i can relate because as I stated before every black girl in my area thinks their the bees kness lol
@asiag299 I know you're black. As I was searching for people that commented to me when I finally got on here, I found out you were. It doesn't matter if you think they shouldn't take offense. Those black girls couldve been through anything, maybe their too sensitive which is fine, I won't judge because it's not my place. I wasn't sure if you called me insecure because you didint put a comma so I couldnt tell and put that just in case. But yes I understand your point too. I do apologize for being rude to you (if I was )
@CapricornSwagL lol it's fine I'm just glad you're not mad at me I did enjoy your side of the debate and I can agree with your points too. Thanks for the discussion :)
@asiag299 Lol noooo, I am not mad at you (I was kinda annoyed at first after replying to the guy that owns this comment). But I have no reason to be. You sounds like a very strong black woman which I love to know and hear about. You're very mature with your 17 year old self lol. You're very much welcome
@CapricornSwagL Ohh that's understandable. Thank you very much and I find you very mature for your age too even though you're a legal adult already lol I like meeting strong black women too :)
@asiag299 Aww thank you!! That's very sweet of you :). Nice to actually hear it from a strong black person herself. Keep up the good work and attitude. You're a very positive person too, that's good
Meh. I still don't see girls in the West dating Indian or any other brown or dark South Asian guys. Unless they look white, are super tall, or really rich, I just don't see it happening. But I'm open to dating a girl of any race if she was into me.

I love brown and dark skin. Reminds me of caramel and chocolately carob lol. I love all skins though.
Interesting. It's rare to find a girl like you. Anyways, I don't know why the other anonymous guy brought up white genocide and zionism into this. Especially when you have pictures of so many black and Asian couples as examples. Some people really need to realize that not everything revolves around white people.
I never cared for race. I care about culture. In culture comes similarity. I mean "pop" culture as well as ethnic culture. For instance, a Black, White and Asian person can be video gamers. They are part of the same culture; have some people of the opposite sex in that mix and romance can happen independent of race.
@QooLipBite The Asians were very outgoing, ambitious and ridiculously optimistic and positive. Usually very successful and drove expensive, nice cars. Quite forward though and hands on. Still nice company though. The black guy was very nice, had similar views, not all hands on or at all creepy. Very laid back and easy going. Relatively successful but happy with what he had. Respectful of me. White guys I've dated have been in low paid jobs, but usually have some kind of hobby they love and work hard for. Not fully respectful of women and quite confrontational/aggressive. Can sometimes be romantic.
This is just my own person experience, not a generalisation - before someone comes in to attack.
While this is great and all and I personally don't care much about race beyond the associated culture if they identify with it; I somewhat wonder about the genetical effect of mixing severely different genetic populations. It might be a good thing. It might be bad. It might depend on the two mixed population. Maybe it is coincidental. There might be statistical research on it. Might be interesting.

I am white and am dating a Puerto Rican/Native American man. Its exciting and there's new things I learn of everyday. But in my personal opinion, people should just do what they want. Some people aren't into the interracial dating. Some aren't attracted to people of different ethnicities. And that is their business.

Interracial dating is something that ignites my passion inside out.
Being with someone else different and exotic to me just feels mystical.
I love the attention and stares you get while strolling with your partner in public.
you're also inspiration for all those guys/girls who might want to try it but are afraid of the ridicule !

Terribly sorry for your romantic issues. Perhaps you ought to be more clear with your writing in future.
@9mfeo Let me put it another way: I don't mind that they're a different color. Hispanic men are American men too. American doesn't mean white, especially considering white people also immigrated to this country.
Why? You love mayonnaise and boiled chicken that much?
@9mfeo That "joke" wasn't funny the first time you used it.
In other words, women don't wanna date you so you think no one should date outside their race. It's funny how the world revolves around you.
@BigJake aww bb you get so mad when white people aren't being idolized. How quaint.
@9mfeo You get so butthurt anytime anyone criticizes the bleeding heart drivel you spew.
@BigJake aww, look at him. So mad. Are you about to throw your computer in anger? I hope your insurance policy covers self-control issues.

We get it already, people love to bash on black girls on GAG! It's getting really old now.
@the_champ I'm not bashing just stating a preference.
No, you didn't just state your preference, you went out of your way to make sure everyone knew how much you don't like black women
@the_champ I just stated how I feel about black women. I did not say they are unattractive, just that I do not find them attractive.
Enough with the white knight crap.
I'd say the same thing if you were talking about men. Don't even try me with that 'white knight' BS.
Hmm...
Yeah it's the dark skin that I don't find attractive. But hey what can I do. Everyone's got their preferences.
Sounds like more than a preference... Thanks for your opinion. :)
Thanks for being the only person not to judge :)
LOL at all the butthurt from black girls. It's okay for them to prefer not to date white guys, but a white guy preferring not to date them is racist.
@QuestionMan
@the_champ Omg thank you. A person with sense. I see people bashing Black girls all the time. Dont find us attractive thats fine but putting it here is just ridiculous and mean. What if some insecure black girl saw it? She'll be crying
@HikerDude Tf lol. I never said he was racist. I was letting him know as a black girl I didn't care if he didn't find ME attractive.
@asiag299 How the hell was I aggressive? I was letting him now AS A BLACK GIRL I didn't care if he didn't find ME attractive.
@HikerDude Whatever. I dont care. Believe what you want
@HikerDude My point exactly
@asiag299 You get it.
@CapricornSwagL
@QuestionMan Lmao I am not butthurt. I am not crying or offended by you not finding me attractive. I was simply informing you
@QuestionMan Giving you facts to let you know
@CapricornSwagL The tone in which you wrote it, suggested otherwise.
@CapricornSwagL So by attacking me you hoped to attack others?
Wtf
You're a very positive person too, that's good
@CapricornSwagL :)
Sometimes I wonder if they're trolling or just really that weird lol.
cool story bro... perhaps your moping is the issue.
I never cared for race. I care about culture. In culture comes similarity. I mean "pop" culture as well as ethnic culture.
For instance, a Black, White and Asian person can be video gamers. They are part of the same culture; have some people of the opposite sex in that mix and romance can happen independent of race.
I've been on dates/slept with/kissed white guys, Asian guys and black guys. I'm totally into multiracial!
I love the couple pictures in this <3
Have you noticed anything different between each of the different races?
@QooLipBite In what sense?
Behaviour?
How they treat you?
Their thoughts and their views
Thanks for your answer :)
Exceptional observation skills 😄
