My ex called/texted me at like 10:30 pm is that a booty call?

I missed a call the other night from my ex at around 10:30 pm and then he texted me "hey whats up." he called twice once in the afternoon and once really late at night about two months ago also. I have not answered. are these booty calls or does he really want to talk?

the last thing he ever said to me was after I'd called him back two weeks after week broke up (he had called me at like 1 am) and straight up told me "I was just drunk and wanted to fuck" it was the meanest thing he has ever said to me, and I know he was really mad at me at the time (I had fucked up too) but it was still horrible. I don't know why he would try multiple times like this to do it again

It's both, weak moment like he is needy, like any time it's late at night like that you're tired, possibly drunk, not thinking straight. Imagine if you did pick up the call, you'd not be as quick or sharp to handle it as you would have if he called earlier in the day, which would have at least had a chance of it being genuine.
